About this property

Holiday House with real Holiday Charme in Smiths Beach

This property is in one of the best locations at Smiths Beach. It is walking distance to both the general store and Smiths Beach. The beach is both suitable for children or the serious surfer and is patrolled from late December to Easter.

The house has a large balcony which has a nice view including a glimpse of the ocean. The 3 bedroom house (incl. a large games rumpus room) sleeps 6-8 people with 2 queen sized beds, two sets of bunks in the rumpus room, and 1 couch. The Living Area has a Smart TV where you can log on to your Streaming Services. The rumpus room has a TV and a DVD player.

Free Wifi is available.

Access to the House is provided with an electronic key lock so that guests don't have to worry about carrying keys around when going to the beach or exploring the
Island.
There is a large, fully equipped modern kitchen, 2 bathrooms, laundry with washing machine, large outdoor deck, BBQ & outdoor setting. Harry's house has split system cooling/heating units in the living area and in all bedrooms (including rumpus). The grounds provide ample room for cars & a boat.

The house at this fantastic location is ideal for a family holiday. Enjoy sitting back from the lounge or on the large deck area, watching the magnificent views, whilst the kids enjoy themselves playing table tennis or table fussball in the rumpus room, basketball on the sheltered court in the front yard, or a game of soccer in the backyard.

Smiths Beach is close to the Grand Prix Circuit (incl. Go-Karts), Penguin Parade, Nobbies, Winery, Golf Club, Cape Woolamai Surf Beach, Wild life parks, Koala park, boat launches & all the other attractions the Island has to offer.

The house is available for weekends or weekly all year round.

Stays from 2-3 nights onwards can be arranged. In busy holiday periods 3-4 nights will be a minimum.

Prices listed are indicative and do not include costs for linen and towels. Please submit an enquiry for exact pricing. Linen can be provided at small extra costs. Sorry, towels we can’t provide.

Great location close to the beach and well appointed house with everything you need for a self-sufficient stay. Great place for the dog to stay - plenty of enclosed back yard. Hosts are great with communication and help to make it a great experience.

Great beach house that is pet friendly

The family all enjoyed our stay at this property. Kids loved the large games room and the dog loved the big sized yard. Lovely view out the back and great location so close to the beach. Would love to come back and stay during the summer time too!

Clean & tidy house with all the amenities needed. Huge selection of board games we enjoyed thoroughly. In such a great location, 5 minute walk to the beach, couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.

Great stay in Philip Island

We had such a wonderful time staying here during our trip to Phillip Island! The location was perfect—close to the Penguin Parade, Smiths Beach, and so many other attractions. The accommodation was spotless and had fantastic facilities that made our stay incredibly comfortable.Our kids absolutely loved the activities available, which kept them entertained the whole time. From the moment we arrived, the owners were friendly and easy to deal with, making everything stress-free. Overall, it was a perfect family getaway, highly recommend!

Harry's House is a great property and in a wonderful location. It's spacious and caters for everyone, kids and adults of all ages, it really is home away from home. We had such a great time! Smith's Beach is less than a 10 minute walk.

Superb location and a sensationally comfortable stay

A delightfully warm family home with a more than ample supply of offerings from kitchen to bedding to entertainment. A clean home with generously spacious living areas for cooking, entertainment and generally just lounging about. We loved that it was so well appointed there was little need for us to leave. We were more than happy to just stay and relax and venture out to the lovely Smith's Beach, being only a few minutes walk.

Something for everyone

We loved our family holiday! Plenty for the kids to do at Philip Island and also at the house. A short walk to the beach for a surf. The corner shop was so convenient for takeaway meals, coffee and ice creams. The house was well appointed and it was great to have a break from wifi

Originally from Germany, we migrated to Australia in 2003. The plan was to stay for 2-3 years. But... places like Smiths Beach quickly convinced us that there is probably no better place to be than Australia. Smiths Beach quickly caught our absolute love and attention and when the golden opportunity came about to purchase Harry's House we really couldn't hesitate or resist for too long. Ever since, the house has not only hosted our family for many holidays and quiet weekends away. It is fair to say that it has made many families happy over the years; with many of them returning year after year.

Why they chose this property

Spending many summer days at Smiths Beach we fell in love with the ideal mix of being a safe beach whilst providing good waves for surfing and boogie boarding. This combined with amazing views, especially at sunset; but not to forget the quiet "Island / Holiday Charme" that Smiths Beach continues to offer.
