this 40 m2 house is made up of a kitchen living room on the ground floor opening onto a small terrace at the corner of the old village fountain and a bedroom upstairs opening onto a large sunny terrace facing the mountain
the cottage is fully equipped for

you can lounge on the terrace on the 'relax' lounge chairs and enjoy your meals on the marble table on the terrace under an umbrella or in the shade of the old trellis
a barbecue is at your disposal
for your comfort the room is air conditioned
if you do not want to leave the hamlet the owner puts at your disposal his swimming pool of 5 * 10
all shops, doctor, pharmacy and emergency clinic are in GANGES 10 minutes

A wonderful cottage in a magnificent setting

Ideal location in well appointed property with wonderful views over the valleys. Cottage is located in high up remote quiet settlement with everything we needed. Comfortable bed in air conditioned bed room. Nice shower and plenty for two. Good local walks but walking boots advised. Cannot wait to return.

Le hameau perché au bout de la route offre un véritable dépaysement et une vue magnifique sur les montagnes environnantes.Perrette est adorable et fait tout pour rendre le séjour agréable et nous aider à lutter contre la forte chaleur de ce début juillet : fourniture d'un ventilateur, accès à sa piscine, conseils de ballade...Seul bémol, une odeur d'humidité accentuée par la chaleur dans la pièce du bas (probablement due à l'absence ce VMC) heureusement très peu utilisée vu le beau temps lors de notre séjour.Globalement une très belle découverte. Je recommande pour un séjour au calme.

Après 1.7km d'une route très étroite arrivée dans un hameau de quelques maisons ou la circulation en voiture n'est pas possible ( fin de la route). Quelque dizaine de mètres de portage des bagages pour finir d'arriver. Calme, départ de rando devant la porte. Clim dans la chambre très appréciée.

UN SEJOUR ATYPIQUE DANS UN CADRE MAGNIFIQUE HORS DU TEMPS

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour de 2 semaines dans cette petite maison perdue dans les Cévennes. Tous les gens qui gravitent dans le hameau sont d'une extrême gentillesse. Les 15 jours passés dans le hameau nous ont permis de nous déconnecter et ont été très reposants. Le logement est idéal pour les personnes qui recherchent dépaysement, calme mais aussi randonnées car il y en a de superbes à faire pas loin.... La piscine est très appréciable pendant l'été. ein wunderbarer und ruhiger Ort in schöner Umgebung

Das kleine Gite ist gemütlich eingerichtet, wenn es kühl wird gibt es eine Heizung, was Anfang Oktober schon sehr angenehm war. Der Combe ist ein kleines Siedlungsfleckchen mit fünf Häusern oberhalb von St. Laurent le Minier. Hier ist es wirklich ruhig und nachts hat man bei absoluter Dunkelheit bei wolkenlosem Himmel einen prachtvollen Sternenhimmel. Von hier aus kann man auch direkt los wandern, z.B. auf den Pic Anjeau, mit rund 850 m der Hausberg sozusagen. Wander-Karten gibt es ach im Haus. Wir haben hier fünf sonnige Tage im Oktober verbracht und können dieses Ferienhaus absolut empfehlen. Die Vermieterin Pierrete Rigal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Le gîte est très fonctionnel, avons apprécié la chambre climatisée cette semaine de forte chaleur. Quel bonheur de se baigner dans la piscine au milieu des montagnes.De belles ballades à faire tout autour. Perfect Place for Relaxation

The house is comfortable and well equipped. Pierrette made us feel very welcome. We loved the tiny hamlet and felt totally relaxed there. The sun terrace off the bedroom is private with sun loungers, where we enjoyed reading, watching the small lizards and listening to the bird song. There is absolutely no traffic noise and apart from the birds and the low hum of bees and other insects it was utterly quiet. There are many varieties of beautiful wild flowers and butterflies in the immediate area. The wider area is interesting and the scenery is spectacular. During our six night stay we visited Nimes and the Pont du Gard, the Cirque de Navacelles, La Couvertoirade and the Viaduc de Millau. Locally we enjoyed the cascades on the River Vis and lovely walks. There are many, many more things to see and do in the area. Ganges is a short drive away and there is a good range of shops and supermarkets there. The kitchen in the house had everything we needed for self catering. Breakfast, listening to the birds, as we sat just outside the kitchen door beneath the vine was perfect. Our stay here was part of a much longer holiday in Southern France and Italy. We were very sorry to leave, and wished we had rented this house for longer as there were so many other things we could have seen and done. The tranquility of this holiday let made it perfect for us. Thank you, Pierrette, for our lovely stay.
