We enjoyed our stay at this beach home as we came into town for a reunion. The house was clean however there were no garbage cans anywhere in the top floor (master bedroom and bathroom). There was also no toiletries, which we ran up to the Harris teeter to buy but if we had known beforehand we would have brought from home. The dryer took a few cycles to work but we didn’t have too much laundry for the weekend. There were plenty of beds and chairs! I would recommend!

We were staying g for volleyball tournament at sports complex. We were able to walk. Perfect for what we needed. Spacious and great location. Love the game room!

This was the perfect home in the perfect location, 20-30 minute drive to everywhere we wanted to go. This house was perfect for our family, great sleeping areas and the living space was open and roomy. The bedroom off of the master was perfect for our 9 year old granddaughter and the shower in the master was amazing! The dining room table was awesome and had seating for all of us. The grandkids had fun playing ping pong in the garage along with all the games that were provided. The Hostess was fun to chat with before, during and after our stay. I reached out to her several times with important questions like "is there a Keurig or drip coffee pot" haha. My son in law cooked and everything he needed was available. We do recommend that you pick up some foil/saran wrap or bring bowls with lids for left overs. We had a perfect vacation and if we go back to Virginia Beach, we will definitely stay here again.

A beautiful home with everything you could possibly need! The downstairs bedroom with bunks is perfect a family with kids away from other rooms! Allison was wonderful to communicate with!

A nice get away!

Location was excellent and the house was very roomy. We had everything we need in the kitchen, and they provided us with many extra towels and blankets. I wish you could’ve stayed longer.

Great stay and location. Minutes from the beach, groceries, etc. Peaceful setting especially with the well maintained school grounds right across the street. Living room TV remote was broken, presumably from last stay. But, I downloaded the app for the tv used my phone as the remote. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely beach home!!

This home suited all our needs perfectly! It is conveniently located within a few blocks of the beach and convention center. We enjoyed being able to relax for the weekend all together in a home rather than a hotel. Also the kids really loved their room and all the games. Our families definitely made new memories together at Memory Maker and we'll definitely stay here again!

5 Minutes

Busy Memorial Day weekend. This place puts you right in the middle of everything. We had an event at the Convention Center so we were 5 minutes from there. 5 minutes to the beach and boardwalk. 5 minutes to the grocery store. 5 minutes for ice. Some places were even closer. The house itself was perfect to hang inside if it rains or outside on the front porch or back patio. Overall great stay and would take our crew of 13 there again.

Amazing stay

This property is so amazing. We stayed for a few days right after Christmas - 4 kids and 4 adults and a dog from two families. It was really great to have separate spaces (with great furnishings!) for the kids and adults to hang out so we weren't all on top of each other during the rainy days! There was a great kitchen with tons of appliances and cooking/prep space. There was adequate space in the open plan living/dining room for all of us to enjoy meals together and have friends over. The bedrooms were well appointed and mattresses comfortable. So nice for each master to have an en suite bathroom. The house is also a block away from a playground and just across the street from a middle school with a track and a dead end street. Very little traffic and great for kids to ride bikes, scooters, skateboards etc. It's also nearby a scenic trail for walking/riding. Alison and Tom were great hosts - we immediately booked for a week in July and can't wait to use the outdoor spaces and walk to the beach.

Our family is excited to share with you a hidden secret at the oceanfront Virginia Beach. We currently live in the community of Old Beach and absolutely love the vibe and location. We decided to share one of our homes this year as a beach rental and we hope you love it too!

Why they chose this property

We love the location of the "Memory Maker' and we absolutely love the community. Our sons are now in college and the home is too big for just Tom and I. We decided to rent this awesome place for families to make lasting memories like we did when we lived there. We now live in a smaller home in OLD BEACH.

What makes this property unique

We love this home because it is within walking and bicycling distance to what we think is everything. The home itself is very open and spacious and has a beach vibe. The front porch is so welcoming in the morning with a cup of coffee to start the day and the converted garage into a game room is a great place for children and adults to play ping pong and games. Sit by the fire in the evening and have a glass of wine around the fire pit with beach chairs.
