A very clean and well appointed home. Comfortable, clean and not cluttered it makes for a relaxing vacation spot. The location is perfect for watching the freighters and rock hounding.
We really enjoyed our stay! The house is very nice; all new and very comfortable! Great towels, lots of supplies and kitchenware. Wonderful memories were made! We will be back!

So happy you enjoyed your stay and thank you for taking great care of the house. You are welcome back anytime ๐
Beautiful setting and so much privacy. The home was spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was right there. We loved it. If I could offer any suggestion it would be that the mattresses could use an upgrade. But hands down, we would go again
Had a great time - property was very nice and the host was easy to communicate with - the property was very private and quiet. - Wonderful area and a nice place to visit
Very rare that we've stayed at a beach house where you couldn't see your neighbors. Mosquitos were barely noticeable, even at night while we enjoying campfires overlooking Lake Superior.Location was pretty central to what we planned on doing between the Soo and Whitefish Point on our trip. Only advice I'd have is to bring plenty of essentials with you if you book the place. Simple things that I've never had to go out and buy while staying at a VRBO, like body soap, shampoo, coffee & cooking spray weren't supplied.
The house was fantastic, thoughtfully appointed for a rental stay, and perfectly situated to allow for privacy and quiet and yet not far from major attractions.
My husband and I wanted a secluded relaxing spot to have our honeymoon and this was perfect. Our own little strip of beach and the perfect backyard for campfires.

So happy you enjoyed your stay come back for your anniversary ๐๐ thank you for taking such great care of our home.
We had a great stayโthe property description does not do enough justice to how serene this location is. Perfect for just hanging in the yard or the lake and close to many attractions.
First impression was clean, clean, clean! Lots of room. Beautiful views of the lake. Quiet and peaceful! Lots of activities close by if you want to see the sights. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back!

Ty for the great review so happy you enjoyed your stay โ come again ๐
This property was very clean and private. The kitchen was well-stoced with applicances, pots and pans, etc. Nicely decorated. We saw many ships go back and forth. Beautiful sunrise. Both the property ower and property manager were very responsive to our questions. Would stay here again.

Ty for taking good care of our home you are always welcome back.
Beautiful cabin tucked just far enough away from other cabins. With young kids, loved the convenience of having the washer and dryer. The beach was sandy enough for my kids to enjoy time building sandcastles. We did did not swim as much at the cabin because of the rocks in the water, but there are some nice sandy beaches just a short drive away. Only 30 minute drive to the Soo. Fluffy towels and warm beds! We enjoyed our time staying at this cabin!
The cottage was comfortable and clean.the beds were comfortable. The cottage could use bedroom lamps for reading. Also, the bedroom windows only had sheer curtains. They really need solid curtains. Privacy isn't as much an issue as the light. We woke up at 6am due to the light. We finally covered the windows with blankets. The view of ships is great. My grandson and husband loved watching them go by. The campfire pit is great. So are the bench swings. The lake is very scenic but the shore is very rocky. It was tough to launch the kayaks we brought. It's not a swimming type beach. There is a nice sandy beachfront and my grandson had fun playing with his freighters. One thing that is not mentioned in the description is that you are expected to strip bedding and start a load in the washer when you leave. The trash is also to be put out to the road on Mondays. We felt the price of the cottage should have included those services.
Our family loved our stay here. There is a nice sandy beach with cool rocks and a sandy path in the water out to a big rock that the kids enjoyed. We also enjoyed riding the waves. I would recommend bringing water shoes, the rocks can be slippery. There are a few nice hiking trails a short drive away. We went to Sault Ste. Marie a couple times for groceries, ice cream, and to tour the Valley Camp otherwise we enjoyed staying at the property. The house and property are very well cared for and had everything we needed. We would definitely go back!
House was stocked with everything you need except the groceries. Great view and beach area. Bring your water shoes as there are are rocky areas in the water. WiFi was greatly appreciated since I needed to work a little during our stay. Air conditioning easily took the edge off the warmer days. Loved the swing and fire pit down by the water. Given the proximity to the Soo Locks and provided binoculars It was interesting to watch the freighters pass by. Great place to unwind.
