The property was great. We had a problem with the water but the property manager and home owner responded as quick as possible and helped resolve the issue.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was spacious and had everything we needed. The caretakers were extremely helpful and quick to respond, even when I just asked for their favorite restaurants. Driving on the beach was adventurous and was a fun experience! Seeing the horses in the yard was so peaceful. The house had enough room for our 3 teens to have their own space, yet lots of room for family time. The pool and hot tub were a welcome change when we done with the beach for the day. We will definitely be back!

The host was very responsive. We had a minor hiccup with the door lock, she was quick to respond and assist. Leading up to our stay, she communicated in a timely manner answering any questions we had. The beds were comfortable, the views were amazing, and the house was clean. We enjoyed our stay with the added bonus of seeing the wild horses right outside the house! The road to the driveway can feel intimidating but we had no issues whatsoever. Overall a great stay and house.

Very spacious and each room had door to the porch which was great. The screen porch on the side was perfect to get away from the cool breeze but still able to view the ocean. The location was perfect with a great view of the ocean and area. We were able to watch the horses from the deck and even in the pool. Check in and out was very easy and hosts were great.

A great family destination

We really enjoyed our stay with our entire family and little children. It provided a wonderful place with a mix of nature, adventure, start gazing, and just relaxation. Definitely recommended!

Loved the Location

Finding Sandity was a great vacation location for our family. Close to the beach, beautiful view, and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub too. Driving 3 miles on the beach was a cool experience and caused us to enjoy the home and beach more. We look forward to vacationing in the Outer Banks again soon.

Family Vacation 2024

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach house! Being right on the beach was great and very secluded which made for a peaceful stay. We saw wild horses everyday and some came right up to the fence around the pool. The house was very clean and felt like our home away from home! Will plan on visiting again very soon :)

Great ocean views!

Beautiful views of the ocean and right on the beach! It was wonderful to hear the waves from our room and watch the sunrise over the ocean from our deck. Brand new pool. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!

Sandity Vacation

Everything was great. Loved the location to the beach. Loved the pool and hot tub. Only recommendation, need to improve the driveway, was difficult even in a 4WD vehicle. Thank you, had a great week.

THANKS so much for your review. Finding Sandity has the premier spot on the beach!! Not too far from the hard road and a short walk to the beach from the house!! That tall driveway is a double edged sword. Kinda tough to navigate, (definitely need a 4x4!!) but it creates that "top of the world" feeling inside the house!! Shifting sand makes any road improvements tough, as evidenced by the "roads" throughout Carova. But I will certainly let the owner know your suggestion. Hope you will come visit again!

This was an excellent place to stay. Home was clean unbelievable views just amazing. If I had a negative it would be a soundbar for the TV is needed. Also 4x4 is highly necessary in order to get to property you will travel on beach and sand. Don't forget to Air Down your tires or you will get stuck. That's the good & bad!! you will love it!!

Wild Paradise

Beautiful wild area. 4 x 4 beaches were a thrill! Loved the wild horses! House was very comfortable and a plus to have our own private pool and hot tub! Pure relaxation with beauty all around! So nice to be off a crowded beach!

They bought the house about 3 years ago and have installed the pool, installed new floors, upgraded the exterior decks and some of the windows and doors. The plans are endless, but things take time. Most relaxing vacation ever!

This was one of the best and most relaxing vacations that I have ever been on. It was so beautiful. We loved seeing the horses! It was such a unique experience. Laura did such a great job communicating with us and providing the info that we needed. Highly recommend!

THANKS so much for your review. This beach is one of the more relaxing places for seclusion and quiet. No highways or even one lane roads!! ;-) There is always a truly exquisite night sky and almost always a stunning sunrise. Storms can make traveling tricky, but it's worth it for the spectacular waves and splendor of Mother Nature. The horses and other local wildlife round out the vacation. Carova MAKES you slow down, relax, watch and listen. :-)

Finding Sandity

Loved this house! All the decks and ocean views. We highly recommend it for anyone who loves the ocean sounds and the beauty of the wild horses. We saw them everyday!
