Beautiful cabin

My wife and I enjoyed the Red Rooster. Nice and cozy and close to Lost Maples and Garner. Highly recommended.

Relaxing Stay

We had a wonderful stay. My son enjoyed playong outside. The bed is super comfy. This is one of the most welll stocked places Ive ever stayed in. Host was a quick communicator. Just 10 or so minutes away from Lost Maples Natural Area.

Great Cabin

Clean and comfy/cozy. I’m not sure what more you could ask of a cabin. No WiFi reminds you of what you are there to do.

Delightful cabin in beautiful, remote location

Clean, had all the amenities needed, king bed very comfortable, didn’t use bunk beds but would be great for kids. Bunks might be too short for some adult men.

Peace Off the Grid

We had the best time at the Red Rooster cabin. Perfect place to get away, watch an old movie, put together a puzzle and cozy up with a good book. We did venture out into nature most days…easy access to so much. The best hostess with the best ideas. We hope to be back soon.

Perfect getaway

This house was just what we needed for our weekend trip to the river. The location is beautiful and the peace & quiet we felt when we sat outside on the hammock and porch swing was one of our favorite things! The house itself was clean and the perfect size for us. Easy check in/out. The only thing that was difficult for us was not having cell service at all but that’s to be expected. Other than that it was perfect!

Perfect Family Getaway

My husband and I stayed here with our two young sons on a beautiful fall weekend. It was the perfect location - quiet and peaceful but within easy driving distance to Leakey and Lost Maples. Our boys especially loved the bunk beds, and we all loved the back patio and fire ring. This was our second time staying at one of the Lodges at Lost Maples, and we can't wait until our next trip here!

Girls' trip

I got away with 3 of my best girlfriends this weekend to float the river. This cabin was perfect. It was clean, quiet, and just what we needed. We even had a small loaf of banana bread left for us. I would stay in this piece of mountain heaven again, for sure!

Glad you liked the cabin! Because we are in a rural area cell service is still spotty and limited to AT&T. Also, the cabins are in a valley surrounded by mountains and what service there is in the area is blocked :(
