The Bandera Cabin 3BD/1Bath @ Whiskey Mountain - Great Location!

My place is close to Garner State Park (3 Miles), Lost Maples Park, Frio River, Concan, Utopia, Kerrville, & Uvalde. The famous three sisters (best driving roads in the USA) You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets), Pets are an additional $15 per pet, per night.
Sleeps 10-11 This roomy 3 bedroom cabin offers a queen size bed, 3 fulls (includes a full over full bunk bed) & 3 twin beds. This cabin also features a full kitchen, large bath with large walk in shower, heat & air, a covered front porch, BBQ grill and picnic table.

This cabin includes the following:
Fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, cookware, dishes and utensils to prepare meals.
BBQ pit and picnic table with grilling utensils.
Covered front porch with patio furniture to sit, chit chat, read or just do absolutely nothing but enjoy the beautiful Texas Hill Country views!
Each bed has a quilt, pillow(s) and a mattress protector.  You must BRING your own Towels, Sheets, & Pillowcases (Queen, 3 Fulls, & 3 Twins).
Free Wi-Fi - Country Wifi is for basic texting b/c phone service is not always great. It is not intended for working or downloading music/movies.
Satellite TV

  This cabin does NOT include the following:
Trash bags, zip lock bags, & Paper Products-*** but we do supply you with ONE of the following to get you started: toilet paper, paper towel roll, trash bag, coffee, & sugar.

Great Cabin!

The cabin was exactly as advertised and was perfect for our stay. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for riding the Twisted Sisters and would be very convenient for floating the Frio as well.

Some problems with the unit, not terrible condition, just not perfect. Cabin puts priority on sleeping, not comfort - no chairs in living area, only twin beds. Instructions on how to use toilets, we were warned about lack of wi-fi, but had none at all and very spotty cell service.

The cabin is designed as a simple, rustic getaway with a focus on sleeping accommodations rather than a traditional living-room setup, which is why it has twin beds and limited seating. The sign in the bathroom is simply for clarity and a notice outlining that we are on a septic-system It serves as a reminder about what not to flush, which is typical for cabins in rural areas. We include it to help avoid any plumbing issues.” We do note in the listing that Wi-Fi is Hill Country Wi-Fi and not vey reliable and cell service can be inconsistent due to the remote location. We’re sorry if any of these aspects caused inconvenience during your stay, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue to improve communication and guest expectations. Lovely humble family cabin

We loved this cabin so much. Perfect for a family or close friends. It was simple in the best way possible. Cozy, not fancy, but w head everything we needed. You can’t beat the price. The proximity to the traffic noise is it’s only flaw, but we got used to it and of course it slowed down at night.

Short stay but nice

Cabin was nice . Would had loved to stay longer Only downside was a little too close to busy highway. But it is what it is not a deal breaker . Frio was for the most part dried up . But we made the best of it . Will stay again but when river is back flowing

My name is Cassie Hurles, I have always lived in Texas (Dallas & Houston Areas) and all my summers were spent at the Frio River area. I met my husband, Darren (Daz) in 2001 while he was working here in the states. He moved here from Scotland in 2001. We then had our son, Connor in February 2004 and our daughter, Isla in May 2008. The first time I took my husband to the Frio River he fell in love and we kept the family tradition going with our kids, making it a must every year. Then we moved to the beautiful Texas Hill Country in April 2015 & bought Whiskey Mountain Inn on July 22, 2016. We are looking forward to this new adventure.

Only 2 miles - There is Happy Hollow tube rentals & shuttle. You take a right out of property & You park there and they shuttle you for tubing.
Only 2 miles - The Washbarn is open 24 hrs - 7 Days a week, you take a left out of the property & it is on the right.
1/2 mile to Buckhorn Bar & Grill
For your convenience, there is a binder in the cabin with a map of all river access and parking details.
