Lovely place

This was a great house for our group of six adults. A close walk to the beach, Martin's home at Manyana has a generously equipped kitchen with lots of glasses, plates, pots and pans, with basics for emergencies, and a wonderful deck to eat dinner where king parrots visited daily. We spent four lovely days at the house, and enjoyed little touches like the art, the retro lounge suit, the outdoor shower with hot and cold water, and the board games (we discovered Articulate, causing lots of silliness). Communication was great with the owner, Martin, who was very welcoming and helpful. Arriving and departing were easy, and thankfully no overly onerous requirements on leaving other than leave it tidy and put out the bins.Martin was also very flexible with our departure times. The stove requires a bit of work, but once you master the controls it works fine. It is a lovely place to stay.Thanks very much.

Julie and her friends (and dogs) were great guests. Like she was once before last decade! Appreciative and responsible, they left the house in top condition and Julie was a good direct communicator who I was happy to help and give her local and household advice; she was fun to deal with, no fuss. The Wheelhouse is in quite a renovation phase this last year with new bathrooms, bedding, shutters, art and a tree-filled garden, and this month a whole new deck is going up and some detail repairs, including better marking the stovetop knobs! Guests like Julie and co make all that a pleasure.

Wknd away with family and friends

We had a lovely time in Manyana, great location within walking distance to beach. The property is large and ideal for a couple of families or groups. We had dogs with us but the garden isn't fenced. The property had everything er needed and we all enjoyed our stay.

Reasonably good but needs some TLC

Good for a family. Elderly may have some issues as it lacks handrail for stairs and bath/shower can be difficult. Some repairs and appliance replacement required, particularly the microwave. Barbeque is difficult to light.

Excellent weekender

The excellent view from the comfortable high deck created a relaxing nucleus for our weekend get away. This comfortable house has plenty of room and was perfect for our catch up session. Manyana is a great little town and this house made for a very enjoyable weekend getaway. Highly recommended!

The Wheelhouse- A great Getaway

The house was perfect for what we were after. Comfortably accommodated 3 couples with plenty of room left over. The house has a great little vibe with an awesome wrap around balcony with plenty of yard below. Such a peaceful area and so close to the beautiful beaches. Martin was very accommodating and helpful. Will definitely be back again!

Ideal family beach house

Perfect for the family and dog to go on holidays at the beach. Short walk to Inyadda beach for a swim or surf. Large enough for all with a separate section downstairs for the kids. No wifi which some people may struggle with but we chose to get away from devices and play board games.

Spacious, well fitted out, and a joy to stay in!

Our stay at The Wheelhouse was amazing. Definitely recommended for large groups, as there is ample dining, living, and sleeping space on both levels. Conveniently located in walking distance to 2 beaches, it was a great experience overall and would stay again.

The Wheelhouse Six - a great family place to stay

The house was very comfortable for 2 families. Bedrooms and living rooms both up and downstairs made the holiday very easy. Downstairs was lovely for the hot days as it was cooler, whilst upstairs had the BBQ and the breeze! With a choice of 2 beaches within walking distance and a well equipped kitchen, we had a wonderful holiday!

The Wheelhouse is a fantastic holiday house with everything thought of to make the stay feel like a home away from home.The house is large and spacious with a big deck looking over the local bush lands. It was very easy to sit back, relax and unwind at this property.
