View was amazing. Cottage is as described. Had everything we needed for a fabulous stay. Thanks to Gary for the relaxing holiday in his fishing cottage by the lake.
Simple accommodation, but clean and everything U need.
Garry was very easy to communicate with, and the accommodation was as described. It's an old house but everything was clean and well equipped. My boys enjoyed walking down and fishing nearby.
This property was a delight to call home on our stay. With character, it catered for all we needed including Air Con, BBQ, Boat Life, Cooking & Cleaning amenities, down time & relaxation. More than ample space on the property to do everything we needed with a great atmosphere indoors & out, perfect as a holiday retreat location.
We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every moment.
The property is simple and spacious; And the location quiet and private. Access to jettys, and bike paths was very simple. The surf beaches were only a 25 minute dive away. The shopping strip in Rathmines is a two minute drive had everything needed - the fish and chips were great! And Toronto is only a few more minutes drive away for any major purchases - Greg & Audrey's Ice Cream Shop was a winner with the children.
A very relaxing place to stay.

Stephen and family were excellent guests, enjoyed themselves and looked after the property with great care. Strongly recommend!!
We enjoyed staying at the Fishing Point cottage. The cottage was comfortable and clean with a beautiful view. It was great that their was a heater too.
We loved our stay here for a girls week away. The cottage has history but every attempt was made to provide modern day comforts without losing the old world charm. Such a tranquil place to stay. The decor was thoughtful and loving furnished. There was a beautiful ambience about the place and a view to die for. The shelves were stocked and there were so many little extras that enhanced our stay. Windows were so clean so we could appreciate the view. The beds were comfortable and with the fans and air conditioner it was easy to sleep. We will definitely book here again. So many magical things to do here and we only touched the surface. Thank you for sharing your place.
It was really lovely to stay at this beautiful old property in in Fishing Point. The cottage has great character and history and we instantly felt comfortable and relaxed. The hosts were easy going, very helpful and great communicators. Our visit coincided with some very wet weather, but it was we loved seeing the changing conditions on the lake from the picture windows and hear the rain pelting on the roof. Would love to visit again, thank you.
