Two story country pole frame barn with 2 queen bedrooms, 2 single beds in upstairs sitting area large undercover upstairs deck kitchen bathroom open plan living with combustion fire and outdoor campfire amongst the gum trees and native wildlife. Wake to birdsong and view our resident Kangaroos It has the feel of being isolated. But its only 30 mins from vineyards and a wonderful selection of restaurants Hunter Valley Gardens and the Hunter Valley wildlife park. Just 20 mins from Toronto Lake Macquarie which has a great selection of restaurants cafes and shopping situated on a picturesque water front .Handy to lookouts in The Watagans 10 mins from M1.

Very clean, the sheets felt like new, comfy beds, kind hosts and the little extras like flowers and tea/coffee made it feel like home. Visits by honey the dog and the local kangaroos topped it all off. We will be back and I highly recommend this as a quiet place hidden amongst the trees.

The house was a great getaway in the woods. We loved having a fire and seeing the kangaroos in the morning. The hosts were great, addressing any needs we had as well as going above and beyond and taking us mountain biking nearby as the trails on site were no longer accessible. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook for the time we were there and the kids enjoyed the game and movie selection.

The accommodation was amazing, well presented and in a lovely environment. Our only suggestion would be letting guests know how close other residents houses are. Especially the sons being in direct sight. Another suggestion would be a sign on the letter box.
