We LOVE staying at Harbour Oaks!

Great location! Close to the beach, pier, Pier Village, dog park & pickleball courts, and other island amenities. This unit is clean and nicely decorated and furnished. We had everything we needed. Note that the AC is really loud. Other than that it is perfect for a family/group of up to 4 adults.

Very close to the village, shops, and beach accesses. Gated which was very nice. Comfortable and homey. Would rent again. Would be nice to have waterhose at front of property for convenience for rinsing off sand as we always entered thru the front door. Was one at back of property. Pet friendly. Overall a wonderful stay. We visit St. Simon’s every year. Was worried as this was our first trip without an ocean view rental, but it was just as nice.

Great Location

This is the third time we have rented in Harbour Oaks. The location to the pier and beach can't be beat. The unit was very clean and comfortable and Emmons Realty responded quickly to our questions.

A comfortable stay

We are Canadians and spent a month on St. Simons Island. Our accommodations were quite nice, clean and accurate to the advertisement. It was quiet and easy for our dogs to enjoy some outdoor space. We ran out of many of the supplies. Since we were booked for a month I was surprised there wasn't more of the things we needed ( dishwasher soap, garbage bags, shampoo...) The broken patio chairs we reported were never replaced. Otherwise, everything was comfortable.

Perfect Location at Saint Simon's

We've used VRBO several times this year and have enjoyed all of our stays. This time, we needed some help from the rental company. They were excellent. The rental unit was all that we had expected. Loved the location, too.

A Little Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The community was lovely! However, the condo was less than expected. It has good bones just not taken care of. One bath had the shower door off with a curtain to replace. Other bath had moved shower bar and not repainted. Door to laundry room came off track often. There was trash outside unit(just needed to be picked up off ground). There were bleached out parts on couch cover where stains had probably been. The kitchen sink had stains that could have been removed with the correct cleaner. It could be a lovely unit if it were taken care of. Also the AC(nest control) went up during night leaving you warm in early morning.

This is our second time staying and I love the location to the Village and the property is very well

I felt very secure and comfortable with the condo and comfort for my 10 lb dog. The condo is decorated very nicely. I just think it need a little more care. My only complaint was we found small roaches through out our stay in the kitchen counter. I had to wash and rinse everything we used. The rug in the living room under the chest was dirty with previous dogs urine marks. It should be washed or removed.

Annual end of summer family trip

We stayed in this unit this year for our annual end of summer family trip to SSI. It was very quiet (last week of summer before school starts around the state) and perfect for our needs. The complex is gated, it’s a short walk to downtown and centrally located to popular beaches. The property management company is exceptionally responsive and we appreciated that when we arrived to find a dead squirrel just off the back patio that was drawing a huge amount of flies. They removed it within an hour of our arrival. We enjoyed our stay at this unit and recommend for anyone looking for a pleasant stay on SSI!

Could not find a “direct” tv remote for the tv in the living/family room, had to watch “live” sports in bedroom, downer. Found live cockroach in kitchen sink, suggests inadequate pest control services. All else, excellent.
