Welcome to another exciting year at We have eight vacation rentals to choose from this year boasting some of the best views on PEI.

So Close To The Harbor/beach You Can Taste The Salt: Somewhere in the world, there’s a place where stress isn’t allowed and peace, serenity and genuine relaxation are the only demands of the day. If you could go there, you would thoroughly enjoy yourself. And when your time there was over, you’d want to stay longer. And when life finally did tear you away, coming back next it’d be a foregone conclusion.

There are not too many places in the world like this is one of them. It’s elegant. It’s so close to the Harbor you can taste the Salt... and The fishing boats are Docked a mere 300ft away.

Salt of the Harbor Condo is a 2 bedroom Condo Located in the Heart of the Historic North Rustico Harbor, Dramatic Harbor/Ocean views There you will see the bald headed eagles, blue herons and other shore birds, See the lobster boats comming and going from the large 300sqft Deck. Walk or Bike(His/her bikes included with rental) the famous North Rustico Boardwalk! where beautiful views can be enjoyed for the entire 10 min stroll or about 3 mins by bike. The end of the boardwalk will find the Beach and national parks(Family Park Pass included with rental) and more biking/walking trails. Remember to take a dip in the Ocean, Atlantic Canada has some of the Warmest waters north of Virginia

Walk to Restaurants and Shops: It's a only a short walk to fine restaurants, shops, fishmarket, bakery, grocery store, deep sea fishing, kayak rentals and the Montgomery theatre.

Recently renovated in 2011 with a new modern kitchen, furniture, artwork and flat screen TV, the One-level, 1,200-square foot (including deck) Condo sleeps up to six people one, Queen Bed in each private room, The living room couch turns into a Queen bed if needed. Wifi and cable TV also included.

Okay, let’s talk about the good, the bad and the ugly.The good - the location was amazing - about two blocks to the harbour, half hour walk to the lighthouse and beach. Grocery store and fresh seafood within a ten minute walk.The bad - assume that you have to bring everything to this property. No soap, not even hand soap, very few towels, minimal cooking utensils - but I managed to cook a nice supper.The ugly - neither of the bedrooms have outdoor windows which means that they aren’t legally bedrooms under the building code of Canada. When I flagged this with the host they didn’t even acknowledge it. I also flagged a terrible musty smell in the one bedroom - it was almost impossible to be in. Just gross.The dishes that were there were dirty and had to be washed before we used them.The living room furniture didn’t match what was in the photos and was old and very used and threadbare.Found earwigs in several part of the unit and flies everywhere.Considering that I spent more than 400 for the booking, this is terrible value and I can’t recommend it.

Property had no "WOW", factor. It appeared well used, and somewhat run down.The bedside lamp in the second bedroom had a short and put several lights out. we were able to reset the breakers and regain most lights, but the second bedroom had to be lit from the light out of the Walk-in closet.The TV did not work as per the instructions. No Netflix was available. The seating in the living area (two couches set at 90 degrees), was not comfortable for watching the TV. There were no external bins to collect garbage and compostables. these were piled up in the corridor outside the backdoor like some place in the Bowery slumsPerhaps our worst experience came during a heavy rainstorm which passed through neat the end of our stay. Rain leaked through the living room ceiling and dining area window ledge. There was not time to do much except operate a "bucket and Mop brigade" When informed, the owner did respond quickly, but there was little he could do, It was still raining when we left, but as far as I could tell, the leaks were the result of improper constructionand maintenance. Overall, the experience was much less than I had hoped !!C.T. Hopper

OUR STAY IN CONDO 5

Our stay in Condo 5 started off badly with the check in but Jason was good enough to get a cleaner in and get the place ready for us a couple of hours later . The condo itself is just lovely . There are two bedrooms with WINDOWS unlike condo 3 and the fresh air and the sound of the seagulls in the mornings were a lovely way to wake up. The front deck was lovely and the view was so peaceful and calming. Sadly we could not go out on the docks as they had them closed off due to Covid but totally understand.

J’ai du entrer moi même en contact avec le propriétaire car aucune info à 3 jours de mon arrivé. La vue n’est pas ce qui est représentée sur la photo (décevant). L’appartement est grand avec air climatisé mais aucune fenêtre ou ventilateur dans une des chambres et l’autre fenêtre condamné aucun ventilateur donc chaud et inconfortable au coucher. L’appartement est grand avec toute les commodités. Nous avions une passe pour accès au parc Canada. Endroit tranquille.

Comfortable stay

We had such a great stay and communication was a breeze. The beds were very comfortable. Nice view out the front windows. You can walk to the shops, bay, park, grocery store and restaurants. It was so nice to have bikes to cruise around on also. We were a family of four so two adults and two teens; this place suited us perfectly. We would love to go back for another stay one day!

Charming Harbour-front Community

This property is conveniently located in the charming fishing village of North Rustico, PEI. Short walk to the famous Blue Mussel Cafe for foodies! Condo #5 is spacious, easily supporting 4 adults (we were 3).

Lovely town lovely views lovely food

Stayed first week of August 2018. Condo was easy to find, very clean and very well supplied. Nearby beaches were beautiful not crowded at all and clear water with gentle waves. The deep sea fishing was a fun experience. The boardwalk proved to be a nice walk and the ice cream in the town square was perfect after dinner. Drives up and down the coastline were stress free and view rich. Our host provided passes to parks which was a bonus! Our last lunch was at the patio restaurant overlooking the harbor and all agreed we would go back in a heartbeat.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay here but it was an updated older house not a condo. We had trouble figuring out how to work the remote control for the heat and so were cold the first night. The owner clued us in the next day and it got cozy after that. Washer and dryer are in the basement and are old. Bring your own salt, spices, coffee, soap, shampoo, etc. The bed was very comfortable, good movies to download, nice kitchen. Walkable area very near Anne of Green Gables historic site. We would stay here again and,recommend it.

Great location

Really enjoyed sitting on the front deck looking at the ocean and harbour activity. Be sure to visit the Blue Mussel Restaurant. Accommodations were perfect.

Lovely Location

We loved the location!!! Right on the waterfront and easy walking distance to several shops and beautiful views. While I wouldn't call it an all inclusive kitchen, there was enough there for us to get by with cooking several meals. We had a great time.

Quaint, cozy friendly town! Lovely village and accomodations!

If you are looking for a great PEI experience, this is the place. This condo is found in the adorable working fishing village of north Rustico, which has lovely restaurant s and friendly people. Our condo served as home base to visit various pei places. The condo was clean, spacious and even had a great washer dryer. Kelvin was very friendly and shared many ideas about what to do. Would go back in a heartbeat.!!!

Great place to stay!

The condo is spacious, was clean and comfortable. The washer and dryer were very handy after having been on the road for a while. Kelvin is a laid back guy who adds some nice touches to help you have a good time, like a binder full of helpful info, a 15% discount at the best eatery in town, bikes and canoes you can use, park pass and Green Gable pass. The condo is very well situated, very close to the water, as well as many amenities. North Rustico is a charming, picturesque village, right by a national park, has a neat boardwalk and a lovely beach. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who plans to be in the area.
