About this property

Stunning Fully Remodeled Lake Geneva Home located within Geneva National

This home has been fully renovated last summer and is perfect for a Lake Geneva getaway! Featuring a large great room and kitchen on the main level, and a second great room that walks out to a patio on the lower level. Each Guest room offers the privacy and convenience of a hotel - with large TVs, in-room refrigerators, individual coffee makers, etc. Great rooms feature an ample dining area, seating area, gas fireplace, large TVs and powder rooms. The lower level great room also has a pool table.

All six bedrooms offer two queen size beds.

Full maid service is available upon request and can include daily tidy service and all linens. Kitchens are fully stocked with dishware, glassware and other standard items for cooking and baking. Gas grills, high definition cable television and high-speed wireless internet is also provided.

It was hard to understand the layout from the listing, but the house was really large! 6 individual bedrooms and bathrooms, 2 living spaces and full kitchen. It was plenty spacious for a post holiday family gathering. We didn’t use all the amenities, but I could see us booking here again.

Christmas with the Family

Our stay at your property was GREAT!! This is our 4th year out of the last 5 and we are already planning on next year. We did have one fairly big issue. The dishwasher was never mounted to the space, therefore we could not open it to use it, because it would pull out from the space. I did take photos of it and showed the to the young man that was working the desk when I checked out. It was a pain having to handwash dinner and breakfast dishes for our large group. I can send the photos if needed.

Challenges

We struggled first with the fire place in the living room not working and it required two visits by maintenance to correct. The next biggest issue was the lack of cooking tools. E.G. pots and pans and all other items required. Very minimal.

Big but bugs were too

The cottage was a nice size. There were many big black bugs that made their appearance throughout our stay. Made us uncomfortable. When renting the entire cottage, the upstairs door should be unlocked so the people staying upstairs do not have to go outside of the cottage to use a separate entrance to enter their rooms.
