Nestled in the Sandstone Point property toward the south side of town, and a short walk to the beach, this studio gives you the chance to hit the beach with ease and explore the local attractions.

A decor of soothing purple mixes with an ocean-themed palate and welcomes you in. Check out what's on cable when you turn on the flatscreen HDTV, or cuddle up by the fireplace with a good book. Enjoy the ocean views from your deck as you use the WiFi to send off that last email.

The mini-fridge will keep your drinks cool, while the microwave will let you heat up a quick bite to eat before you get out on the beach.

With two soft queen-size beds, up to four guests and your canine companions (for a small nightly pet fee) can stay here with ease. Make a cup of coffee in the coffee maker while your guests get ready in the vanity area.

Paddle through the dark blue waters of Devils Lake with a SUP or a kayak and explore the surrounding beauty. Location, location, location!

Beach is just steps away! View is amazing, room is quiet and you can hear the ocean all night! Everything you need for a weekend vacation. Highly recommend.

The shower barely worked. I could never wash my hair in that shower. The beds were terrible. An air mattress would have been better. There wasnt really a blanket just super thin sheets. It was a good deal for places on the coast. I guess you get what you pay for.

Condo was fine, but fire place did not work and we had to be the ones to figure that out. The heat also had to cranked to the max to stay warm. They also did not inform us that the beach access was not available. Overall it was just … OK

A wonderful bargain

Neat and clean, and everything is very shipshape. At the far end of the room is a big patio window, and that window is completely filled with the view of the ocean. If you are a nitpicker, then perhaps you should stay at the Hilton but if you a few errands paint drips or something, don’t bother you then this is really a wonderful opportunity for a low cost luxury vacation

Ho hum good view

This is a hotel room. Great view and location. But…issues. Had to call for Wi-Fi info…no hot water in the morning…fireplace went out…etc. All issues were fixed day of so kudos to local staff. Reviews show these are chronic issues so be aware. We still had a fine time but know you are really getting a no frills hotel experience.

The room was very dirty upon arrival. The floors had not been cleaned under the bed and furniture. The main walkway areas had been swept, but not mopped. Our feet got very dirty and looked black after walking on them. The corners of the floors were full of dirt and sand. The walls and baseboards were very dirty with splatter marks, spills and stuck on dust. The bed sheets had not been changed and there was sand, insects and hair in the bed. The bathroom floor tile looked very gross with black buildup in the tile grout. The night side table has not been cleaned and had dirt and red splatter marks. I contacted Vacasa and sent pictures. They sent someone to clean the room. The bed sheet were changed, but the new set still had dirt on hair on them. The floors, walls and furniture were not cleaned and still very dirty. The beds were also very uncomfortable with loud springs that creaked with every movement and we woke up with sore backs. It was such a terrible experience, we left early and did not stay the second night. My request of any partial refund was denied.

Amazing Views… but unfortunately that’s it

Amazing views. Beds were very uncomfortable. Room is dated and appears to be falling apart. The floors were dirty, there were visible spots of something orange splattered across the floor and our white socks were black within an hour of being in the room. Under the beds were very dirty, clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The end tables were dirty and sticky. There was bits of seaweed smeared on the wall. The front door and lock/handle had some weird gross substance on it. Could hear the person next doors dogs barking all night. While the view from the patio is great, everyone has their back doors open due to how hot the rooms are and there’s no divider between balconies so there’s no privacy for you or your neighbors. The TV is very old and doesn’t get all the channels, nor can you stream using it. The walk to the beach is short, but keep in mind the hill back up is very steep and may be rough on older folks or people with asthma/heart issues. There are a couple restaurants and small shops close by, but walking there requires walking along the side of Hwy 101 with a small shoulder (no sidewalk) so recommend having a vehicle. Parking in-front of the room is limited as well. The price is good for the view, but if the room was updated and deep cleaned it could be such an amazing little get away.

The view is amazing! The place was disgusting. Blood on the light switch and bathroom door, pet hair piles everywhere, refrigerator was dirty, hair in the shower, sand in the sink, sticky rings on the table, beds were hard, felt the springs, bed frame legs are rusted and something orange was all over the floor. Had to go get cleaning supplies and clean the place myself. Wanted the full cleaning fee refunded and was denied. Never again!

Don’t waste your money

The view is amazing! Beds are hard and you can feel springs, rusty bed frame legs, chair legs about to fall off. The room was filthy! Piles of dog hair everywhere, sand in the sink, hair in the shower, blood on a light switch and on the bathroom door. Health hazard I would say. I wanted to leave but they would only refund me $136 for the rest of the 3 nights, so I asked for the total cleaning fee refunded since I had to totally clean the place and they said “no!” I will never use vacasa again and I will be letting others know to rent from others, they don’t care about about guests what so ever!

What we were looking for

Location was wonderful, we used it as a home base to explore the OR coast. Had a wonderful view of the ocean and only a walk away from the beach. Walls were pretty thin, the wifi did not reach out to the balcony, mattress was old the bed springs kept poking us, and we couldn't figure out the shower, there's a ring on the bottom of the spout that you pull down. But the messaging system with management was wonderful and they were able to send us a Pic of how the shower works, apparently our room was missing the picture. Overall we would book again, we don't tend to stay in a room on vacation.

Unexpected surprise & Seahorse G3

For what o paid I didn’t expect much, however upon opening the door I was pleasantly surprised. The floor was virtually new and clean, walls looked like fairly fresh paint, and across the room was a gorgeous view of the ocean! My only knocks are the bathroom tile needs refreshed and I had to get up to manually turn the TV on/off (poor me). I’d stay here again in a heart beat.

Amazing View, but Needed a Good Cleaning and Paint

The view was amazing, but the room does not look like the photo. The box springs covers on the beds had dog hair on them as if they had not been changed in a while. The upper linens were tucked into the unchanged box spring covers. The shower curtain needs to be raised. It layed about four inches on the bottom of the tub, and had mildew on it. Disgusting considering the number of people that use it. I did not shower in the three nights that we were there. My husband did twice in the evening, but the water was barely warm. He pardoned it the first time, thinking that multiple people has used the water, but the second time was very frustrating. The floor was gritty as if it had not been swept. The floor hides the dirt, so it is easy to pass as swept. The walls and baseboards are very much in need of paint. The baseboards look very dirty because of it. A little TLC in that room would go a long way. Unfortunately, we won't be back.
