Welcome to our comfy 1950s beach house, right across the road from Shelly Beach! It’s the perfect spot for a laid-back family getaway or a weekend with friends. You can walk to Bateau Bay restaurants and Cafe's, bowling club, Shelly Beach Golf Club, and the Shelly Beach Surf Club & Café — great for meals, coffee, or local events.

Great place to spend time with family or friends. We also brought our dog and it was very suitable. House is close to a lookout of the beach and the beach is about a 10 minute walk away. House is cold in the winter, but the heater provided was great.

The property was bigger than I had expected, very accommodating for 4 adults and 2 dogs. Easy walking distance for everything needed by humans and dogs and would be great premises in warmer weather, being so close to the beach and having a great covered deck.

We had a wintery weekend break and the house was perfect in the cold weather. The heating kept the house warm and we were even able to sit for a short while on the front verandah. The house is in a great location and the inside is just lovely and so clean! It has all that you need in a holiday house along with character and space.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Shelley Beach. The house was clean, spacious and full of retro charm. A nice secure backyard for our dog and a wonderful front balcony - with railings and a gate so pet-secure - where we kicked back with coffee. As well as all this, the location is fantastic: lots of cafes in easy walking distance and the beach just across the road. The unleashed dog section of the beach is about 5 minutes walk to the north - just opposite the surf club, which has a restaurant upstairs and a wonderful dog- friendly cafe downstairs. This is a good option if it’s raining with tables outside but under cover. All in all, a very strong recommendation for Shelley Beach.

The house was clean and well set out for two couples, plenty of space. Parking was adequate for two vehicles but a little tight. Close to beach and surf club. Host was receptive and responsive to requests.

Thank you for your feedback Christian. The stairs that were damaged are being replaced and should be finished in the next couple of weeks. We are excited as it will also include a playground, toilets and BBQ facilities. Besides that hiccup we hope you still had a wonderful stay.

From the beautifully updated, impeccably clean interiors and stylish décor to the perfect bedding configuration and a kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need. It’s clear that comfort and convenience have been a priority, making the whole stay feel effortless and welcoming.The fact that it’s pet-friendly is a huge bonus, and you’d never know a pet had stayed there. The home is exceptionally clean and well cared for, with thoughtful touches like the dog bowl and ball launcher making it even more welcoming for four-legged guests.The location is fantastic, with the beach just moments away and a great selection of restaurants and cafés nearby. What really elevated the experience though, was the wonderful host. Michael was exceptionally accommodating and helpful, making our stay even easier than we expected.A beautiful home, an exceptional location, and a host who clearly cares. We’d happily stay again!
