Our Mexican Brick Casita is waiting to welcome you. Situated 3.5 miles from downtown Bisbee in the Warren area of Bisbee; this quiet peaceful location is an opportunity to enjoy the hustle and bustle of "Old Bisbee" and then hop in your car for the 10 minute return, and relax. Enjoy the hundreds of birds living in nearby trees, the quiet, and church bells on Sunday morning.
There are no disappointments here. Every effort has been put into La Casita (which really is made of Mexican brick called "burnt adobe"), economical pricing, the grounds and the comfortableness of the Casita as well as an abundance of linens and items to make your stay as wonderful as possible.
Immaculate, this 700 square foot Casita offers a private, peaceful setting for birdwatchers, hikers, bike riders or simply folks wanting to get away from it all for a few days. There is plenty of parking (and room for RV Parking should you require it). Just let us know in advance if you are driving an RV.
There is a restaurant 1/2 block away, and we are located a short 10 minute drive from Old Bisbee. . We also recommend the Lavendar Jeep Tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and you won't have to worry about getting stuck up on the mountainside when the road abruptly ends! Ahh, the charm of Bisbee.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size refrigerator and stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and anything else you may need. All linens are provided with extra blankets or pillows should you require them. The master bedroom offers a queen size bed with a new pillow top mattress, plenty of storage space and drawer space. There are also 2 folding floor futons for small children. In the laundry room cabinet you will find extra bedding and games for the family to use. In the living room you will find several comfortable areas to read with books for your use; some from local authors. The bathroom has been completely remodeled with wood wainscot and an abundance of large bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. If you enjoy sending postcards or writing there is a desk provided in the Bedroom. Sun pours into the living room every morning creating a light and bright environment. You will enjoy the private side patio with numerous large whiskey barrel planters, roses, decorative pieces, a charming fountain, propane barbecue grill. This is indeed a wonderful setting for a relaxing afternoon or evening.

About the host
Hosted by Betty Coble

I am a retired "snowbird" from western New York. I started visiting Bisbee to spend more time with my daughter and grandson, and get out of the snow! That was over 10 years ago. Now I live full-time in Arizona and visit NY in the summer.
I enjoy the weather, gardening, weaving, volunteering at the church thrift store, hiking and spending time with my family.
My daughter Colleen, and sister Kathy help out and my brother Jake (pictured) has spent considerable time working on getting the casita up to date.
We hope you enjoy it here as much as we do!

Why they chose this property
When I would visit my daughter; I'd take a daily walk and admired this house. I made friends with the owners and when it was time to move here full-time they mentioned they wanted to sell. The guest house was already a vacation rental and Joni was very generous with her time training us. We were able to keep returning guests with only a few changes.
What makes this property unique
Unique
This well cared for 1916 home has charm, grace, room to roam, fully fenced for animals, great sunsets, walking distance to a breakfast/lunch restaurant and bus service. Just 10 minutes from Old Bisbee, down the street from Copper Queen Hospital, Warren Ball Park, Arizona Street, beautifully built, has been well maintained. The guest home has it's own side patio which is covered, a barbecue patio, fountain, fully fenced, TV with expanded satellite, lovely linens, full size front load washer and dryer, full size refrigerator, beauty-rest pillow-top mattress, microwave, full size stove ...everything you could possibly need. I have been told by several guests that it is the cleanest rental they have ever seen!
You might also consider taking a bus (bus stop is at the end of the street) tour of ALL of Bisbee (including San Jose all the way to the border) stopping as you choose to shop or sight-see and then continue on the next bus.
The guest house is colorfully decorated with an assortment of interesting pieces of metal art and trivia on the exterior. The patio is now in full bloom but I cannot help wanting to add more flowers....the more the merrier! I love the color.
To add to the charm there is an abundance of natural wood in the home, saltillo tiles (handmade Mexican tile) and you will find a quaint bathroom which is sparkling clean. There are also numerous books, games and a DVD player with an assortment of movies for your entertainment.
Breakfast fixings will be waiting for your first morning At La Casita. Including locally roasted coffee beans!
This home will sleep 2 adults and there are 2 fold-up futons in the bedroom closet for small children to sleep on. Pets with pre-approval and deposit only.
You will leave feeling relaxed and wishing you could stay longer.
