Newly updated! Pet friendly, High end, Fully appointed cottage or villa with beautiful beach location and view (inc. golf cart). Our Concierge will arrange for all your needs including your ferry (not included), as well as ground transportation from ferry to villa which IS included in rental fee.

This is a beach vacation minus all the bustle AND CONGESTION! Just you, your family, your pooch, your book, and the beach (sometimes all to yourself!). Watch for the dolphins from the ferry or even better yet just twenty yards offshore from Melrose Beach, practically just outside your door!

Daufuskie is a quiet place, perfectly tuned to unwind you... beginning with your check-in. Our concierge will contact you before your ferry ride to Daufuskie and arrange for all your needs and ground transportation will meet you at the ferry dock. (Daufuskie is available only by boat, very few cars on island). You can even have your groceries delivered to your villa

A golf cart is included in rental fees. They are the primary mode of transportation on island and add a wonderful element . Cart on down and party at Daufuskie Crab Co just a nine minute ride away. A great vibe (check their band schedule!).

Beautiful ocean front cottage.

Watch the sunrise over the ocean from your pillow. Walk less than 100 steps to a beautiful sandy beach. The cottage is fully equipped to prepare all your meals. Just bring your groceries.

This property was much better than we expected, the pictures don’t do it justice. It was clean, very comfortable, and spacious. The screened in porch is HUGE with a beautiful view of the ocean. We will be back!

Another wonderful trip to Daufuskie!

We had a great visit to Daufuskie Island with our six-year-old daughter and our 13-year-old pup. Fred's villa was clean and well-stocked with dishes, flatware, glasses, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. We took our own coffee, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, shampoo/conditioner, etc., but all those items were also provided in the villa except bar soap and hand soap. The last time we visited Daufuskie, we had to make separate arrangements for boat, land and golf cart transportation, and it was so wonderful that all three were included as part of the villa rental on this trip! I gave the "Accuracy of online listing" four stars instead of five because the photos in the listing are not of the actual villa where we stayed, so there was some confusion when we were taken to a different building. The photos are very similar to Fred's villa, but the floorpan is reversed and the porch color is green instead of yellow. We called him upon arrival, and he was very nice and helpful and cleared up the confusion. It wasn't a big deal since all the villas are very similar and the photos closely resembled the one in which we stayed, but we just wanted to make sure we were in the right place. We would definitely book this villa again and recommend it to others!
