Built in C1840 this historic cottage is right in the heart of the Mudgee wine trail, 5 minutes from the centre of Mudgee's wonderful restaurants and cafes. Perfect for families or friends getaways bring your bikes or walking boots and enjoy our lanes and farm walk.

Our comfortable cottage sleeps 6-8 guests on two Queen beds, King Single Bunkbeds, King Single and single. We have a fully equipped kitchen with an open plan large living room that has a combustion fireplace. The dining table extends to seat 10 and the combustion fire will keep the whole house warm in the cooler months and we have bedroom fans/heaters and reverse air conditioning for the warmer months. Two TVs and DVD players and music speakers. Front and back covered outdoor seating areas with lovely views over the farm, garden and dam.

We have one large bathroom with a bath, and another outside toilet and basin across the cottage driveway amongst the garden.

Good quality bed linen, large soft towels, farm fresh eggs, our own wine and a Nespresso coffee machine all there to enjoy. We provide milk and butter and complimentary wine for your late arrival. There is wifi available as well.

We have horses, Angus cattle, chooks, 2 miniature schnauzer dogs and a working farm.

I have a guide full of information and ideas to enjoy your stay and we look forward to hosting you on our farm. We do have an unfenced dam and an electric fence around our chooks so unless strictly monitored we don't recommend very young children.

The bedding configuration is two queens, one king single bunk bed, one single bed in a room with another king single bed.

We have a fire pit that can be used to cook on or sit around it is $25 extra to use for wood cost. The property is also monitored by two outside security cameras for your safety and ours.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We love where we live and chose this property for it's lifestyle. Our kids have flown the coop and we love to meet new people and share our piece of paradise with others. We enjoy growing our own produce and love to see others enjoy our produce

Why they chose this property

This property has been in our family for 40 years and previously housed the vineyards and tasting room for Frog Rock Wines, now sold to another Riverina winery. So many childhood memories here and established gardens that we still enjoy today.

What makes this property unique

We are 5 minutes from Mudgee town and close to other wineries and cellar doors. The views from this property truly capture the gentle welcoming hills of Mudgee and make you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle.
