Wonderful, peaceful stay at Rass Mandal for seven lifelong friends. Richard was a great host and communication was easy and helpful. Enjoyed hiking at the Tent Rocks, an art/history walking tour on Canyon Road and several great Santa Fe restaurants. Amazing sunsets and full moon viewing!! Great time had by all! Thank you!

We had a lovely time at Rass Mandal, thanks to our amazing host, Richard, who graciously allowed us to use the property as the spot where we got married! He was very helpful and accommodating. It was a very clean property, with plenty of space and fantastic amenities such as the lovely pool. The views were amazing, and it's not too far from downtown Santa Fe for when you want to go into town. Genuinely one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed at!

We had a wonderful stay at the Rass Mandal house in Santa Fe! The house was AMAZING!! My friends and I celebrated our 40th birthday there and it was the most perfect weekend. The house was exquisite! We felt a sense of zen immediately! It was comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location was convenient for exploring downtown Santa Fe and the space had a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended! 10 out of 10!!!

It was the coolest house our group has ever stayed in. It was lovely having the sauna, pool, hot tub and yoga studio all there. We had a bachelorette party there and planned one day just to take advantage of the house. It was everyone’s favorite day!

One of the most amazing and memorable stays I have ever had. Rass Mandell is almost like staying in a museum, with its incredible art, sculptures, wind chimes, and architecture. Every bedroom is unique and beautiful, and the kitchen and dining areas are equally impressive. The huge circular Mandela Room is truly a sight to see.Then there are the endless gardens, which are so beautiful: you can hardly take your eyes off the surrounding vistas. The pool was perfect—not too hot or too cold, just right for those warm desert days.This was a 70th birthday getaway, and I could not be happier with how it turned out. Richard and Leslie were wonderful hosts—responsive, accommodating, and incredibly helpful. Their extensive manual, filled with recommendations, was especially useful for arranging everything from activities to catering. Walter Burke did a fantastic job with the catering as well.An absolutely unforgettable experience and truly a trip of a lifetime!

What a magical home! We loved it. So much to do and see right on the priperty. Perfect for kids if they're good around a pool. Great host! Altogether a great experience.We want to come back!

Our stay at the Rass Mandal exceeded our expectations. It is a one-of-a-kind place with the peace and serenity of the mountains while still being conveniently close to downtown Santa Fe. Everyone raved about how wonderful this place is - we had a group of women - about 10 - and we enjoyed the pool and just relaxing on the grounds - we did yoga, went out to dinner - the location is excellent - but mostly we relaxed at the beautiful home - we had dinner delivered one night - and we would certainly book again - perfect for our next family reunion!

Annual Family Friend Vacation

We stayed 4 nights for our annual family friend vacation. The house was extremely clean and it had everything we could ask for. The views from the entire home are amazing and swimming in the pool and hot tub were a dream. We would highly recommend this house since it is so close to downtown as well.

Perfect Spot for a Family Wedding

The property is simply amazing and the host was magnificent. We came in town for a small family wedding and had an amazing time. My kids want to go back again already. Beatiful sunsets, amazing accomodations and the host was 5 star. I can't say enough good things about this place. We have stayed at several places around the country, and this was by far and away our favorite.

The property was very unique and memorable. Richard, our host, was exceptional in ensuring we had everything covered. The location is great for easy access to downtown Santa Fe. The pool and view are out of this world! Very enjoyable stop on our road trip of the west.

Unique and wonderful place

Sets a very high bar for any vacation rental we might do in the future! What kind of place has so much unique, beautiful art throughout the house and property? Additionally the rooms, beds, baths, sauna, pool, grounds, kitchen, everything was very well cared for, clean, and comfortable. We had a great time, this was the perfect choice for our group of 5 staying a few days in Santa Fe.

What a beautiful paradise!

The photos don’t do this place justice! It is stunning. And there is plenty of property to explore. The pool was perfect to jump into after a morning hiking or exploring Santa Fe (which is about 15 minutes away). The kitchen is very well appointed. The bedrooms feel luxurious. And Richard was a very accommodating host.

The Rass Mandel is a unique oasis in the desert. Whether you go for family vacation or a peaceful retreat, this property has everything you could want: plenty of space, room for everyone, beautiful kitchen, a lovely outdoor area, separate yoga studio, and an excellent host. We went for a large family get together and everyone had an amazing time. The kids and adults all loved the pool and hot tub, which were a perfect balance for New Mexico’s weather. Richard was very welcoming and told us to use every amenity the house offered. He walked us through the property during check-in and told us that anything that wasn’t behind a locked door/cabinet could be used. Additionally he was very quick to respond with any questions we had during our stay. He also had very useful guides for visitors to hike the property or things to do in Santa Fe as well. The last thing I’ll rave about is the decorating inside and outside the property. I’ve never seen such an eclectic choice of art used around the entirety of the property. It is truly stunning in its uniqueness. I hope I will be able to find my way back to the Rass Mandel in the future to see how it’s changed for the better.

Perfect for an extended family gathering

This was a great location for us to bring together four families for a week long vacation. With a large family, space for each to do their own thing was a necessity. Rass Mandal was great for this with the short walks around the property, the yoga pavilion, pool and all the unique nooks in the residence to explore.

5th Anniversary of College BOA's

We had six couples, total 12 people stay three nights for a wonderful get together. Rass Mandal is unique and the owner/caretaker is fantastic and has great stories and history to share pertaining to the property. I highly recommend this place!
