Our lake house is a peaceful and comfortable home well suited for families. The layout includes TWO king suites on the ground level, each with a private bath, both with a walk in shower, one with a claw foot bath tub. A THIRD bed room upstairs is an enclosed loft with two queen beds and one twin bed..with a walk in shower. The house is perfect for adults down stairs and kids upstairs.
The living room has ample seating with a new sectional sofa and one recliner chair.
The dining area seats 7 comfortably with 2 bench seats and 2 standard chairs. The kitchen is well equipped with new cookware, silverware and plate setting for 8 guests. Keurig coffee maker with single cup and full pot option. Single Cup coffee provided. Wine glasses and insulated wine travel cups for use. Appliances include dish washer, microwave, electric range, washer and dryer. Kitchen accessories include rice pot, food processor, blender, waffle maker, roasting pan. Screened outside patio with sectionals sofa, TV, dining table & chairs is the FAVORITE place to be.
Outdoor features include Weber grill and fan back chairs with lake views. WiFi and smart TV provided. Community Swimming Pool is 200 yards behind house. Community Tennis & Pickle ball Court 200 yards behind house. Lake and Boat docks 300 yards behind house. Beach Access to lake 300 yards behind house. Marina for private boat launching and boat trailer parking 800 yards from house.
Gated Community with safe walking trails and biking options. Very Dog Friendly Neighborhood. World Class Golf access. Excellent local restaurants and shopping. Only 1.5 hour drive to Atlanta. 30min drive to Madison, GA. 1.5 hr drive to Augusta, GA (home of the Masters Golf Tournament). 1hr drive to Athens, GA. (Home of the Bulldogs). 30minute drive to the Georgia Safari.

This was our second stay at this beautiful property. Great Waters is a lovely community. The house is extremely comfortable and well stocked. The screened in porch is a favorite feature with its beautiful view. The king bed in our bedroom was the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. The owner is attentive and very pleasant to work with. We look forward to coming back again. Don't hesitate, book it!

Lake Oconee was simply magical! Jennifer, the host, was beyond helpful and made sure our stay was everything we hoped it would be. The house was clean and had all the southern charm we were looking for while staying in GA. The lake is breathtaking and the fireworks display were amazing. The area and community are very family friendly and safe.We will defiantly be back! A huge thank you to Jennifer for making our family 4th of July vacation wonderful. She is a gem.

We instantly felt comfortable the minute we walked through the front door. The house is well decorated and a great layout. The whole property is amazing and we loved going for walks. We will definitely be back for a longer visit! Jennifer was a wonderful host and answered any questions we had.

We had a wonderful stay at the Samples’ lake home — it truly had everything we needed and more. The entire process was seamless, and Jennifer was fantastic to communicate with from start to finish.We especially enjoyed relaxing on the back porch while our daughter had a great time completing the scavenger hunt thoughtfully put together by the Samples ahead of our arrival. It was such a personal touch that made our stay even more memorable.Thank you again for making our trip so enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend this lake home to anyone looking for a perfect mix of golf, lake access, and a relaxing getaway!

Relaxing summer getaway!

This is a beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect spot for my family of 4 to enjoy a few days away. We especially loved sitting on the screened in porch and soaking in the lake view. Thanks to the owners for a great experience - we hope to return!

Beautiful Property

The home is lovely and spotless, the host was excellentwith communication and suggestions for things to do.The gated grounds were peaceful and serene. Pool wasright out the back door and included a view of the lake.Fishing with a guide was great. We truly enjoyed our stay! This property is worth a visit.

Perfect home for relaxing lake weekend

My husband, 11 year old daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was wonderful. The house was very clean, had a well stocked kitchen and even some games to play. The location was walking distance to the lake and the pool. We would definitely stay here again!
