About this property

Bright and quiet Studio - 2 to 4 people - Briançon (Hautes Alpes)

We appreciate receiving a small note about you and the reason for your stay at the time of booking.
Maximum 4 persons (1 double bed and 2 single beds*). Please note that we do not accept animals.

June 2020 - Our apartment has been completely renovated (paintings, installation of a floor in the mountain area, improvement of the electricity circuit and other small adjustments).
December 2021 - Completely renovated bathroom with installation of a shower and a washing machine

The flat is NON-SMOKING.

Children are welcome; pets are not allowed.

Ideally situated, bright, very quiet, with all comforts (classified 2 stars quality Tourism at the Briançon Tourist Office), south facing, facing the mountains, 600m from the Old Town and 1 km from the modern heart of Briançon, south gate of Serre Chevalier Vallée (10mn by car) and west gate of Montgenèvre (20mn by car), and close to the Vauban fortifications classified as 'UNESCO Heritage'.

The flat has a private underground garage, in addition to a common overhead car park, and a large garden in the condominium.

A wifi box is installed in the flat.

A view to die for!

This is a charming little apartment, ideal for a couple, though sleeping up to four at a squeeze, very well equipped, and well situated just outside the old fortified part of the town, within walking distance of everything (if you don’t mind hills!) But the immense appeal for me was the superb view from the apartment south over the valley and dominated by high mountains all around. I am afraid I spent far too much of my stay just gazing out in awe over this amazing panorama, and savouring the way it changed throughout the day and in different weather conditions. I would thoroughly recommend this property, whether like me, you simply want an opportunity. to relax in beautiful surroundings, or instead you seek more active pursuits, facilities for which are abundant.

Schön eingerichtete, sehr saubere Wohnung, man hat alles, was man braucht. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist spektakulär! :)Die Vermieterin Frédérique war sehr nett, die Kommunikation und Schlüsselübergabe ging sehr unkompliziert.Das Bett war auch bequem, sodass ich mich hier zwei Nächte gut erholen konnte, bevor es auf der Radtour weiterging.

Agréable séjour à Briançon

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Briançon. L’accueil de notre hôte a été très chaleureux et le studio très agréable avec une vue magnifique. Nous avons profité de très belles randonnées dans la Vallée de la Clarée (lac du Laramon et lac du Serpent). Nous reviendrons très certainement.

Appartement ensoleillé, agréable ,calme, fonctionnel et bien équipé, proche de la vieille ville et de la ville avec ses fonctionnalités. seul bémol les pistes ne sont pas à 150m..Mais du coup quitte à prendre la voiture, cela nous a permis de découvrir les autres stations des villages voisins qui sont différentes mais sympa.

Super Aussicht

Parkplatz vor der Tür(kostenlos), Zimmer war sauber, die Ausicht war super, in der Küche war alles da. Leider wurden im Portal unter Ausstattung die Leihkosten für Bettwäsche+Handtücher nicht erwähnt und die Kosten für eine evtl. Abschlußreinigung wurden erst bei Ankunft in der Unterkunft angesprochen.

We spend frequently our holidays in this 'family' studio as well in winter than in summer. During winter, several very close ski stations (Serre-Chevalier; Montgenèvre; Vallée de la Clarée; Puy- Saint Vincent) enable to do alpine skiing or trekking skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ski-surfing and other winter sports. In summer, the area offers a wide variety of walks, hiking and mountaineering, and touristic visits. The proximity of Italy (12km) is an undeniable added attraction .

What makes this property unique

Ideally located, luminous, very quiet, very comfortable with southern exposure overlooking the mountains, 600m far from the old town and 1 km far from the modern town center of Briançon; south side of Serre Chevalier Valley(10mn by car) and west side of Montgenèvre (10mn by car), and at the foot of the Vauban fortifications Vauban classified 'UNESCO heritage'.
