In this home, enjoy spectacular lake views from almost every room. Located in Lutsen, you are only 20 minutes from Lutsen Mountains and Resort, and 30 minutes from Grand Marais. However, with everything you need at Clara Lake Resort you will not want to leave.

This spectacular lake home has 200' of private west facing lakeshore on Clara Lake. A stunning great room with floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace, 18' ceiling with exposed wood beams & custom-built log staircase. Master suite on main floor with soaker tub and shower. 2 Bedrooms and a bathroom with shower on 2nd floor and and 2 bedrooms with full bathroom on the ground floor. 2 powder rooms on the main floor. Wood burning sauna with dressing room & screened-in porch.

Clara Lake offers abundant recreation options. Swimming, fishing or boating in the summer time. In the winter time snowshoe, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and ice fish in the winter.

Need to get some work done or Instagram your amazing VRBO? Whole house WiFi and fiber internet has you covered.

Note: Kayaks and Paddle Boards are available for rental. There is also a fee for use of firewood for the sauna and fire pit outside. Unfortunately use of the indoor fireplaces is not allowed.

Our second time staying at this property. We have been coming to the North Shore for 18 years now, and this is one of the best properties we have stayed at. Especially enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks and the canoe. Lake Clara is such a beautiful lake. Did a lot of off pavement bicycling and of course so many great hikes in the area. Great base for all of our North Shore adventures.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this property! The home was beautiful, spacious, clean, and had plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy. It was a great place to relax, spend time together, and make memories.Liv was an excellent host and made the entire experience easy from beginning to end. One thing we especially appreciated was the detailed PDF she provided before our stay. It clearly explained everything we needed to know about the house, amenities, expectations, and our stay, so there were very few surprises or questions once we arrived.Communication was easy, and Liv was responsive, kind, and understanding throughout our stay. Overall very good. Everything is very dated in the house and the basement furniture needs to be replaced, but the house was clean and things appear to be well maintained. It is just an older home that is showing its age. The location is awesome if you are looking for a secluded place. We walked the private road a couple of times, which is a beautiful walk, and only saw two other people the entire stay.

We loved our long weekend in Lutsen at this beautiful home! It was perfect for our group size of six adults and eight kids. We had to do some shoveling to access the garage spaces, but that is to be expected in the wintertime at a house that is fairly remote to access. One note: the sauna and firepit require extra fees to use (125 and 50, respectively). I asked about use of the sauna for free because I had not seen that fee before booking, only after, and Liv kindly allowed us to do so. I appreciate their hospitality and attention to my messages!

Great winter getaway!

We had a great winter getaway to Lutsen in this beautiful home! Tons of space to accommodate our large group and all the amenities of home. Beautiful views on a very peaceful lake. Our host was super responsive and helpful. With only a short drive to the mountain for skiing as well as day trips to Grand Marais for shopping and dining, the location was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again.
