House is great! Love the furniture, Loved the kitchen and the living room area, super cute! House is in a cute area, very close to the lake and downtown area. Lots of fun things to do! loved the area! ( our only minor complaints would be we didn’t care for the mattress and the backyard could use a little TLC)
We loved this house. The location was perfect. It was within walking distance to everything...park, beach, downtown, restaurants! Thank you for letting us stay.
My family stayed here for a weekend of soccer tournaments and bike racing and it was great! So cute and everything we needed, laundry, extra pillows and blankets and plenty of towels. Kitchen is stocked nicely and decorated. We loved it and highly recommend!
Loved the property and the location. Easy walk to downtown and the lake. Had everything we needed. Great beds! Loved sitting on the porch every morning drinking coffee. Would absolutely rent this place again.
Everything very enjoyable, clean, relaxing. If i were to make a suggestion, i would suggest some tune up work on some of the bikes., otherwise cant wait to book again!
We had a little couples getaway for a weekend here. The house was perfect for 4 adults, furniture was comfortable and the house was clean and cozy. We appreciated having bikes to use for a quick trip to the store. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet, and was beautiful with all the fall colors. Proximity to Sherman Ave and all the shops and restaurants downtown was great.
We were really pleased with staying in this comfortable and quiet house. Everything worked great, including the air conditioning as it was very hot while we were in CDA. The house is well located, walkable downtown to many restaurants and patios, and a short walk to the Safeway grocery store. A nice backyard with fire pit, and the secure storage for bikes was a great add on. Would definitely stay again.
No issues for us. House was as it was described.
We did not spend much time there as we explored the area. Some good hiking all withing 15 minutes to the area. Location of home allowed us to walk into town.

Wonderful location, close to town and beach, perfect home, SO comfy.
The home had all the necessities and then some. The furniture wasn't worn out and the sofa, love seat and mattresses were all in great shape, not soft and worn out. We loved the location, its proximity and closeness to town and beach made it a real treat. We really liked the bikes, there are 6 for kids family of all sizes. The wagon was great too to haul the stuff to the beach. We're gonna come back next year.
I was also very pleased with the house itself. The TV/dining room is one big area and held plenty of space for the 7 people we had in it. The couches are large and the TV is probably too big. And I felt that that made the space look smaller in the photos. And a big <3 to that porch.

Thank you for the kind review and stoked you enjoyed your stay!
We were extremely pleased with all aspects of this property and our experience while there was phenomenal. However, we were charged for sheets because the cleaner stated to the owner they had gone missing. We did not take any sheets home with us so I’m not sure what happened here. This was disappointing.
1st timers (VRBO)- 1st out of state trip with kids
This home was just about perfect for our family.
This was our 1st VRBO and were pleasantly surprised by the ease and accuracy of the home.
Thankful for AC (it was a hair over 90)
The front deck is awesome!
Nice big t.v.
Closer to downtown than we realized when we booked.
My wife did not like the "busy" street (I say it that way because it really wasn't that bad although every now and again someone would be going way over the 30 mph)...we're used to a cul de sac that has almost no worries so our kids (4, 7, 8, 10) needed much more supervision and rules to stay away from the street and only go yay far up and down the sidewalk on bikes and scooters)
The master bedroom is in the basement (and stays super cool which is a huge plus) but it felt really strange not being on the same floor as the children (which we're used to being in a split level and the kids being right by us). Also weird having windows open to keep cool on ground level (to us...most might be used to that) so my wife actually slept upstairs on the hide-a-bed most of the week.
The shed with bikes and beach goodies was awesome. My kids LOVED the paddleboards and I was pleased that they're actually not too bad to set up and get everything back in the bag (it actually fits quite well).
Negative- the downstairs bath mat was damp when we arrived and a puddle of water underneath and the basement smelled of chemical... I run a tile/grout/stone cleaning company, not sure what they used down there. It aired out.

Hi Mike
Thanks for the feed back
I appreciate all your comments and have reviewed processes with my cleaners
Glad you enjoyed your stay
We loved our time here! Beautiful home with everything we could need. Easy, beautiful walk to downtown Coeur d'Alene. Would definitely love to stay here again!
The house was great for our group - 5 adults. There is plenty of room with a nice fenced in backyard (we didn’t use this, but would be great for adults and smaller children). The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. We had trouble with the Wi-Fi and contacted the owners who responded immediately with a fix. Only downside is that it was a very hot week and the air conditioning units are only in the kitchen and living area, two of the rooms had fans so the bedrooms were a little warm. Overall a great vacation and would stay here again.
The house was great, very comfortable. Loved sitting on the porch in the evening and having a few drinks. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Close enough to walk to the lake and downtown.

Charming house in a wonderful location!
Overall, we had a wonderful visit!
Pros of our visit include: location to downtown, well stocked house and bedroom downstairs that is separate from rest of house was great for kids.
Cons of our visit include: lack of communication from host and lack of cleanliness. Examples are dirty silverware, used bar of soap in shower, dirty blankets and random items under bed and in couch cushions.

When we visited Coeur d'alene in 2005 we instantly fell in love and bought this cute little down town cottage. I want everyone to know some of our favorites of Coeur D'alene. Favorite Beach- Pack a lunch and hike out tubbs hill to the point. Very peacful and crystal clear water. We stay there all day, like 7 hours. Favorite Market Harvest Organic Market- just around the corner 3 blocks away is Safeway, 3 blocks up from safeway is Harvest. Favority Restaurant- Angelo's Ristorante Italiano (a local grown restaurant) 846 N 4th St CDA, Idaho or try Wolf lodge for steak. Must Do's If you have young kids, take them to Rider's Ranch for horse back riding. You only have to be 2. Take the kids to Silverwood Park for water slides and roller coasters. Hit the beach. River and creek fly fishing are insane in the area if you like to fish. Check with me for the best fishing spots. I can't disclose them here.
Why they chose this property
We are walking distance to everything that downtown CDA has to offer. We have a front porch with comfortable chairs to sit and read or drink a glass of wine on a warm summer night. The house has all the amenities of home. It is clean & comfortable.
What makes this property unique
I like the fishing in the area. Excellent fly fishing on nearby creeks and rivers. Try Lightning Creek up near Sand Point for large trout fishing. Look for WMA access and park there. Use red lid "balls of fire" or spinning lures and flys (purple/white parachute). You can walk to the lake and rent paddle boards and paddle board around the lake. Its a great place to bike.
