This property was exactly what we needed. We were in town for an annual mushing clinic deep in the Tahoe National Forest and this place was only 11 minutes from the location. It is fully fenced in, the kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need and was nicer in person with very tall cabinets and a viking stove. There were 3 balconies and a really fun game room with arcades, ping pong, shuffleboard, board games, and there were plenty of sleeping areas

The property was lovely and perfect for our group. The game room downstairs was a highlight.We had some challenges with communication that were unsettling at the time but the host extended a heartfelt apology which was very appreciated.

Annual fishing trip. Only one brother could make it this year but we would definitely stay here again. Everything was great. Even us old guys had fun in the "game" room!

Perfect Family Getaway

The house was perfect for the family vacation! The kids had a blast in the room/arcade downstairs and the adults were able to enjoy the beautiful fireplace and kitchen. The beds were very comfy and the house was immaculate. It had everything we needed to cook meals as well as plenty of linens. Definitely staying here again!

Great family vacation rental

Great place in a lovely neighborhood. Kids loved the downstairs game room. Walk to Prosser Lake took about 25 to 30 minutes and was absolutely beautiful. Look forward to next time.

Amazing home

This home was perfect for us! The only thing that would make it better is a hot tub on the master bedroom deck lol. Great stay. Beautiful cabin. Perfect for the 8 of us. Plenty of room and the game room was a hit!

Perfect cabin for family fun

We have loved spending summers in Tahoe, watching the kids grow up. Now that they are all adults your property was perfect! It is so far and few that our calendars lineup for a family vacation! Had a great time!

The house had electrical issues throughout the kitchen, and it was not cleaned the way it should have been. The kitchen cabinets and stovetop were dirty. The oven smoked horribly and then stopped working, the microwave was really smelly, the windows were filthy throughout the house, there was dog poop in the back yard and a 5 gallon can half filled with dog poop in the back yard, the property was extremely weedy, the 3 decks all had boards that needed nailing/screwing down, the smoke alarms started ringing in the middle of the night,

really enjoyed staying here. The game room was a huge highlight of our down time at the house. Would like to see some fans in all rooms. No ac in July is HOT.

Prosser Lakeview Estates

The house was very clean, well taken care of and in a beautiful area. We enjoyed having the game room and lots of room for us to spread out in. It was only 10 miles into Truckee, CA and located within 30 minutes of Reno. Everything was within an hour of the house. The owner was very helpful and answered all my emails promptly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone heading the Lake Tahoe!

Awesome Stay despite the Weather

We visited to celebrate my Daughter’s new Job in Japan. The weather decided to keep us there for 2 extra days because of a blizzard. We got like 5ft of snow over the weekend. House was Super comfortable. Chris was super helpful and accommodating. Thanks for letting us extend our stay since we couldn't get out. Will come back for sure. Thanks

Did not disappoint

Our family reserved this cabin for 3 nights. It was very clean on arrival, warm, and welcoming. The kitchen is nicely stocked as well as everything you need from shampoo to towels, to an array of kitchen spices. The only recommendation I would make is to update the linens in the master bedroom, the sheets are old and made us itchy. The bathroom rug also could use updating. Other than those couple items, we would recommend the cabin to friends.

Had all we needed except short on dish rags and could use more dish soap. Oven not working did not need so was not an issue. Great to have a grill. We struggled getting tv to work. M

Family spring ski trip

The street and driveway had been cleared of the deluge of snow that had fallen prior to our arrival; however the entranceway stairs were not shoveled. Once we shoveled the heaps of snow on the front stairs and were able TO GET INTO the property, it was just as it is described. A great family entertainment home. Fully loaded kitchen with high end appliances and cookware. Loads of games to play. Huge living space. WIFI was extremely sketchy. we did not turn the tvs on at all, but I'm guessing with the sketchy WIFI, tv was sketchy as well. But like I said, we did not try the TV Bathrooms were big, plenty of towels on every bed.

Fun time in Truckee

This is a very comfortable, lived in house. The beds were great and the lay out of the home was good. The kids room downstairs had bunks and a ping pong table and other games. Two of the arcade games did not work but the kids enjoyed the big room and TV. We enjoyed that the adults could be upstairs and converse while the kids were down stairs. It is a dog friendly house also. The only disappointing thing was that I was not told the oven was broken and I had brought up food to cook in an oven. The Manager was apologetic and made it right. We did enjoy the Weber gas BBQ and the kitchen has a nice dishwasher and stove. The neighbors were nice and overall a quiet neighborhood. I think they could of stocked the paper goods, dish soap and toiletries better. All in all a great comfortable home we would rent again.

Hello and thanks for staying with us! We’re sorry that nobody reached out in advance about the oven under maintenance. After a few weeks of having the panel sent out the good news is it’s going to be back up and running tomorrow. We did go look at the arcades, and while the golden tee Golf arcade has some lines in the screen, it’s able to be played in full. The rampage game however seems to not play 1 of the 4 games… rampage. We are now reaching out to the company for parts, thank you. As for the toiletries and paper goods, we have always stocked Garbage bags, blue bags, sponge, hand soap, Dish detergent, dish soap, 2 paper towel rolls, dish towels, 3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo and body soap, etc, and this continues to be sufficient for most guests across all rentals. We do state that we stock a beginning supply of essentials, and that list can be found on our website under the guests tab at the top, then the what to expect tab, and we provide the link in email correspondence prior to arrival. Please remember that we are also local for assistance, so do reach out during your stay next time should something come up. We appreciate the details so we can continue to offer quality rental homes, and hope to host in the future. TAP

Very fun place to stay!

We and our adult children spent three nights here and had a blast. We are all chefs and the kitchen was wonderful to work in. It was very well stocked (if you prefer nonstick pans, bring your own). The beds were super comfortable. We all had a blast in the game room. It was very hard to peel ourselves away to go to bed at night. The house is close to trails around Prosser Reservoir so we also enjoyed hiking. And charming downtown Truckee is a short drive. We had lots of wildlife activity. Be sure to lock your vehicles because the bears know how to open car doors! Raccoons, coyotes, and bunny rabbits were also around. No harm - just wonderful nature! This rental was all we had hoped for and more. Highly recommend.
