Charming Beachfront Studio Cottage

This true beach cottage on Lake Michigan's Magnificent Mile, beautiful beachfront with only a slope to the shore, no steps to endure. Live on the beach or walk to town for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Bring all the float toys you want or even pull your boat or jet ski right up to our shore for the day, it's your choice.

Enjoy an adult beverage on our private beach during the day or a fine bottle of wine at your bonfire after the sun goes down. We've spent many a night watching the sun go down, gazing at the stars. When not on the beach hang on our common area large deck or in our quaint cottage with views of the lake.

This is one of the original South Haven cottages that has been meticulously maintained to please the most discriminant beach goer who is looking for that unique and memorable experience.

***Best for small family or romantic getaway. Ideal for 2 adults and up to 2 small children. This unit has a studio style layout with a queen bed and full couch/futon.

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint vacation property! We feel especially lucky to have had such great neighbors during our visit. We really enjoyed relaxing on the deck and spending time around the fire pit. The property was cozy, peaceful, and made for a very enjoyable getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Very charming “little cottage”. Had everything we needed plus some. The host is very communicative and responds quickly. Beautiful setting and well maintained property/beach. We really enjoyed our stay and all the surrounding restaurants and shopping! And it’s true what they say, the toaster oven works fantastic!

We had a lovely time and hope to stay again in the future. The beach was very clean and it was a lovely way to introduce our little one to the beach. There is some construction at the moment, which didn’t bother us - but something to be aware of.

The sunsets are amazing and literally right outside your front door, the cottage itself is cozy and inviting and has everything you could possibly need, and the beach sand is soft and perfect for curling your feet in while reading a good book. I needed a break from reality for a few days and this was the perfect place to just escape and relax. Thank you for sharing this beautiful space, and I look forward to next time! Also - Ann, it was very nice to meet you (and Lily)! :)

I would have benefited from a solid surface to get closer to the beach. It was a challenge to carry chairs etc. back to the units. Hand rails on older steps were hard to hang on to when wet. Over all the place was terrific.

Can't beat the beach view. However, being right next to the public beach, we had to remind stray families/groups that we were on a private beach and they had to move. All of the owners should invest 50 each and extend the fencing along the public beach side. Nothing expensive, but a little effort would be appreciated.
