Our check in went very smoothly - the house is very spacious with plenty of space for our family and room for each person to find a quiet space to rest, read or vegetate! The pantry was well stocked with the essentials for meal preparation and making our stay complete.

Our group of eight had a fabulous stay at The Summerhouse. The well-equipped house is spacious, is a couple of mins walk to the beach, with great indoor and outdoor entertaining options. Tastefully decorated throughout. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent Beach Stay

Stayed w extended family and an overseas relative and had a fabulous stay. Plenty of room, everyone could find their own space, and perfect location. The house is really well appointed with lots of extras for a comfortable stay.

A place to relax

Lovely home within a stroll to the beach, coffee, nearby walking tracks, or just sit on the veranda and sip wine while listening to the ocean… very comfortable and highly recommend for a quiet holiday destination!

Incredible beach house!

We had a fantastic stay! An amazing house. Spacious, light-filled and just moments walk to the beach. Thank you Jo for your great communcation, information provided and personal touches to make us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

This is a gorgeous house with a coastal luxury vibe. Its living areas and verandahs are perfectly set up for relaxing, and the big kitchen is generously stocked with everything you need. Even the outdoor areas were fresh and clean for our stay. It was a pleasure dealing with the host, nothing was too much trouble. Our family had so much fun here, and then the beach is just at the end of the short block.The Summerhouse is the most welcoming place we've been. Super highly recommend!

Lovely family catchup

We could not fault this property for cleanliness and presentation. It was very well appointed and provided an extremely comfortable stay for all. There are so many spaces to meet and chat or to hide away with a book. Our host Jo was very easy to contact and friendly. We would highly recommend this property.

Our second wonderful stay at the Summerhouse

This was the second time that we have stayed at the incredible Summerhouse, having enjoyed the most wonderful holiday two years ago. Once again, our family had the most amazing holiday in this beautiful and very spacious family house, close to the beach and in immaculate condition. It is a home away from home, and Jo was once again the most impeccable and gracious host. Thank you, Jo!

We had such a wonderful stay. The house is beautifully considered - it has everything you need making it instantly comfortable and easy to settle into.Communication was excellent from start to finish, with thoughtful notes and a really helpful handbook full of local tips and practical house details. It genuinely felt like the hosts wanted us to have the best possible time, which made a big difference.The location is exceptional: literally a two-minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever visited, and surrounded by national park. So peaceful and serene. We slept so well!We’d absolutely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, special escape.

Weekend family get-together

We arrived with an extended three-generation family of 10. The house suited us perfectly. It was large, close to the beach, very quiet and spotlessly clean. Everything that might be needed was provided. Also, the host's management of the whole process was impeccable. We would book here again.

Summerhouse at Pearl beach

It was a very great experience for us. The house was clean and had many essential items that we needed during the stay. Communication was very easy and fast with Jo. Pearl beach was a 2 minute walk from the house (so convenient for us). There were plenty of outdoor seating and entertainment. It was a very pleasant stay for us. And we will definitely be back for another roadtrip again!

Perfect Place for a Getaway

This is our second year staying at the Summerhouse with a group of friends. It meets all the groups differing desires - with bush walks, good coffee nearby, swimming at beach, lounging in one of the numerous living spaces, shopping nearby, or cooking in the well equipped kitchen all available. Now with Amalfi's restaurant a lovely stroll away it is even more perfect. The house is extremely clean, has everything to make your stay comfortable, and Jo is excellent and easy to communicate with. We hope to make this an annual getaway to the Summerhouse as I doubt we could ever find anything else as special as this is.

Great place for large families and family reunions

Large open living , dining and kitchen area. Large outdoor living areas - two separate options. Large bedrooms, all but one with queen beds. Plenty of bathrooms and plenty of sitting areas away from the main living areas. Close to beach. Tastefully decorated. Very well kept. Pearl beach is a beautiful spot. Done.

Family get away

My wife recently had a special birthday, I was looking for that special place to go with our adult children & grandson. I’d been to pearl beach once before so as the special day was approaching I looked on Stayz and found this amazing home, massive thanks to the owner Jo who helped me so much with the process. The best recommendation I can make is I’m definitely coming back to pearl & in particular this home. 10/10

I recently spent a wonderful weekend at The Summerhouse with 5 old (long-standing and in age)friends. This place had everything we could have asked for - it was large enough for us all to be together for meals and games and chat but also had separate areas for anyone who wanted some peace and quiet . . . and FOUR verandahs!We were all so comfortable there we hardly left the house all weekend. It was the perfect getaway.Jo was a fabulous host - lovely to deal with and easy & quick with communication.We would all return to The Summerhouse

Family Xmas stay

We had a big family reunion at the Summerhouse with three generations and extended family visiting for Xmas.There was plenty of room to spread out and also multiple living areas in and out to cater for different ages. The close proximity to the beach and ability to walk there was a great benefit. The board games, beach chairs and paddle board were all put to use. The kitchen was very well equipped and we cooked most nights. Our host Jo was very helpful and acted quickly with any ilssues that arose.For the surfers wanting to catch a wave Umina Beach was only a short 10 minute drive away. Fishing was also a big hit for our family off the beach and rocks.Loved our stay here and created many great family memories.

Amazing property

This property was perfect for our family holiday. We had 3 kids 12-17, and 6 adults from 21- 78.Enough rooms and bathrooms, and plenty of extra space to hang out, dine, and have fun. It’s hard to find a place big enough but this was perfect. The large open kitchen/dining/living area upstairs was amazing. The massive deck is everyone’s dream space. So close to the beach, you can hear it at night. The property was clean, very well stocked with kitchenware and pantry items. Terrific communication from Jo. We were all left wishing this was our house. Even the teenagers were impressed. Thanks for your hospitality Jo

Family weekend at Pearl Beach

We had an amazing weekend. The summer house was huge much bigger than the pictures. Plenty of space for everyone and 3 full bathrooms and enough room for 4 cars in garage area. Defiantly recommend to friends very relaxing stay. Everything is very well thought out and cupboards full of everything you need from chairs for the beach to a game of tennis or cricket. Thanks so much Jo will be back again
