Stay right on the shore of Big Bear Lake at this peaceful waterfront cabin with direct lake access, beautiful water views, a game room and cozy wood-burning fireplace. Spend the day fishing, kayaking or paddleboarding, then come home to relax by the fire or enjoy a game of foosball with the family.

With approximately 1,500 sq. ft., 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the home comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests and gives families and small groups plenty of room to enjoy Big Bear together.

The warm, wood-paneled living room delivers the classic mountain-cabin feel with comfortable seating, a dining area, bar seating and a wood-burning fireplace—perfect for relaxing after a day on the lake or slopes.

WATERFRONT OUTDOOR LIVING
Step into the backyard and take in beautiful Big Bear Lake views. Relax on the patio, enjoy an outdoor meal at the picnic table or fire up the gas BBQ.

Guests have direct lake access and use of the dock from the right side for fishing, kayaks and paddleboards. Due to current water levels, the dock is not accessible by boat, and lake levels vary throughout the year.

The cabin is waterfront and just steps from Holloway's Marina, while Big Bear's ski resorts, Village, golf course, snow play and other year-round attractions are a short drive away.

Turn the thermostat to 55 degrees. Do not turn off heaters, may result in frozen pipes. Cabins with a hot tub must have jets shut off, cover on and locked. Wash, dry, and put away all dishes.
Remove all trash and take to the appropriate trash site location. See confirmation for address. Trash removal is the City/County Law and not our rule.
Text us at 909-403-3217 upon departure and leave the name of the cabin. Report any damages or information we should be aware of about the property.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The cabin was very nice. We had a little mix up at the beginning because we thought the property had a usable dock for our boat, it did not, but we made the best of it. The property also had a water leak, but the property management company told us they would handle it after we left. Overall the cabin was nice and we still had fun, despite the hiccups.

Cozy Getaway!

Stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed and lake view and the quiet setting. Morning coffee watching the ducks, pelicans and cranes was a great start to the day! It is decorated just right for a "rustic" cabin feel, but with all the modern amenities; making for a great stay. Kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful. Looking forward to a return visit later in the year.

Cute cabin by the lake

We enjoyed our overnight stay here. The location right by the water is beautiful to look out on from the kitchen and upstairs bedrooms. Enjoyed being able to use the fireplace and fooseball table. Close to shops and food but not in the middle of it all. Communication was clear and timely. The initial forms and permissions beforehand were a bit much, but I also understand why when you’re near residents.

Clean, beautiful, and comfortable

The home is clean, beautiful, and very comfortable. The only downside is that the lake has dried up so much that it's a bit of a hike to get to it. But even still, we enjoyed it nonetheless! Would definitely return.

At first the directions of the place was 456 had to reach out and then I was send the address of 482. It was hassle because I thought it was 456. And lots of spiders and I mean lots. Can tell it wasn’t clean for a while. But overall I enjoyed my stay

Lakefront Cabin

Vacationed in Big Bear with our adult children. It is a nice, up to date cabin with a dock and all amenities, in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We particularly loved that we were able to just step out the back porch and kayak right off the dock all week. I rated it 4 stars because the mattresses were to firm for us and the coffee maker took over 2 hours to brew. (Need a new coffee maker) We also liked that it is a short drive to the village.

2/10 Terrible

Ruined trip

This review is for Cool Cabins and not for Mallard cabin. We did not book a reservation for Mallard but instead we were eventually provided with this cabin when our actual cabin was not safe to stay in upon our arrival. Although Cool Cabins said they were "very sorry" they put the blame on the cabin owner and said they had nothing to do with it. Although we rented a lakefront cabin, Cool Cabins initially tried putting us in a condo as a replacement and only after speaking with a manager did they provide an actual cabin. Unfortunately this was not comparable to what we rented and it ruined our trip. The rental agreement is a contract, they failed to meet their contractual obligation and we will be taking them to court. Will not use Cool Cabins again, would not recommend.

Cute, cozy house, everything was perfect. Things were right where they needed to be. Easy check in. Beautiful lake view, walked out on the dock to see ducks and cranes. Fish jumping out of the water. The sinks and showers get super hot very fast! Love that. Will be back again!

Loved that we were right on an inlet of the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the doc at sunset, but the water is full of weeds so you can't swim or fish off the dock. Which is frustrating because the fish are huge that jump out of the water. This is not a reflection of the property owners themselves just an unfortunate side effect of the water being too low for too long.
