Welcome to Xanadu B05, a beautifully furnished 2nd-floor villa featuring 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, perfect for a relaxing beach retreat. This spacious flat boasts numerous updates, including renovated bathrooms with new vanities, mirrors, and granite countertops, and a kitchen completely revamped with new cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a stylish glass tile backsplash.

The villa’s comfortable bedding includes a king-size bed in the master bedroom, a Queen-size bed in the second bedroom, and twin beds in the third bedroom. For your convenience, the unit offers complimentary Wi-Fi.

Xanadu is a secure building with restricted access for parking and building entry, enhanced by concrete walls for soundproofing and safety. Enjoy a quick 5-minute walk to the pristine South Forest Beach, or explore Coligny Plaza, the vibrant heart of Hilton Head, featuring a variety of shops, restaurants, a movie theater, and a grocery store.

Well stocked kitchen, short walk to beach

The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our bed was extremely broken down and we asked them to replace it. They did so the very next day. We are pleased with the customer service and would stay again. The couch and recliner could use replaced too, but we were comfortable.

Good location

The property was clean and it was only a short walk to the beach and to Coligny Plaza. The pool and grounds were a bit lacking and having coin operated laundry down the hall was slightly inconvenient. Overall, however, it was a good stay and the priority of being centrally located was met. I would stay here again.

Something for everyone!

Awesome property a block from the beach. We took advantage of the beach cart which made bringing our stuff to the beach very easy. We golfed, went to the Coastal Discovery Museum, Sea Pines Nature Resort and saw gators, Harbor Town and did a day trip to Savannah. Wish we had another week!!!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay at the villa. We had a change of plans and ending up arriving a day earlier and they were very accommodating in letting us add an additional night onto our stay for a reasonable rate- which was huge. It was a short walk to the beach located in a great area. Honestly the only negative I found was that we had to pay for laundry services- I am not sure-it may have said that somewhere prior but I didn’t remember that. With a larger family we do a lot of laundry, even on vacation, so that is usually a must have for anywhere we stay- I was just thrown off by it not being included. It is definitely somewhere I would stay again.

Property description accurately matches the site conditions. Building and the Villa interior are dated but clean and functional. Area is generally very quiet. The kitchen is very well equipped for those who want to eat in and prepare their own meals. Proximity to beach and Coligny Plaza are just short walks. Beach was generally far enough away from Coligny Beach to not be inundated with people or beach traffic during our stay.

Wonderful stay

The condo is beautiful. Plenty of space with the exception of a rather small kitchen but we made it work. The pool is deep, which was fun for all of our ages. Across the street from the beach which is a slight walk and you have to cross the street, we didn't mind it but I did anticipate that the beach was closer. Overall it was great, quaint, clean, and very secure.

Check in staff were very pleasant, the unit was clean upon arrival and the kitchen was stocked with lots of useful items. We were very pleased with the unit and all of the amneties offered - The beach chairs, beach wagon and toys were all an added plus that made our stay that much better. The walk to the ocean was very doable, even with small children. I liked having two balconies where we could drink our morning coffee or just hang out in the evenings. I highly recommend Xanadu Villas and will more than likely choose staying there in the future.

Reviewer Comments: Although we don't control the weather, our stay in Villa B5 of Xanadu Villas was enjoyable as the villa description and its location were exactly as described. The villa was comfortable will all of the amenities mentioned in its description. The Kitchen was very well equipped with many hand appliances. It is well situated in the building with only one flight of stairs required to access it. [ or take the elevator if required] A Laundry room was available on the same floor which was handy since we were 8 persons. Beds were comfortable. Having the two exposures [east facing for the morning sun and west facing for the evening sun] was great. All elements of the villa were operational and we had no issues during our stay.

Back home surprise!

When we checked in there were dirty towels on the balcony floor, a precursor of what was to come. Our daughter found a cockroach on our last night. Then on our drive back to Chicago we found one on my wife’s clothing. Haven’t found any since we got back home but am leary. Filthy drapes and small stains on pillowcase and sheets. Pans are terrible, cannot flip an egg, it will stick. Knives struggled to cut a tomato. I may have missed it in the description but you have to pay for laundry and we didn’t bring a supply of quarters. Wi-fi does not reach the master bedroom or bath. The good? Location, 5 minute walk to beach and they have a pretty nice pool in the complex. The unit itself is good size but it needs a very deep cleaning.

Nice Enough, but not THAT nice

The property was nice enough, but left a bit to be desired based on price and what the pictures made it seem. It appeared like some cheap renovations had been made to flip this property into a short-term rental (STR). Probably the worst shower heads I’ve ever seen in a STR - the owner investing $50-100 per shower for a nice head with a wand would be nice because the pressure and temperature were just fine otherwise. The vacuum didn’t really work and when it did run, it smelled the entire apartment like burnt rubber. The master shower leaked and dripped about once per second. I reported to property manager; plumber showed up and sent repair quote to owner for approval, but owner must not have approved of minimal cost because plumber never came back to complete repair. Owner should have a base level of pre-approval for repairs with the management company, and/or it needs to be increased based on hyper-inflation we’re experiencing. The other bath shower was spraying water all over the bathroom and soaking the floor and the hallway light was out and property management sent someone out on Father’s Day to fix that immediately, though. Our 2 year old daughter had a serious incident at the pool where she was walking and stepped on the filter cover lid and it caved in our her. Her leg became wedged from her heel to her knee laterally. It took 3 adults to free her! Thankfully one was an EMT and she avoided serious injury! I reported that ill-fitting pool cover lid as a safety hazard to the management company and it was never addressed the entire week. The master bed frame is super cheap and squeaky. The pros were the location, the pool (other than the aforementioned safety hazard), the proximity to the beach and Coligny Beach shops/restaurants, the safety of the unit, and the closet full of beach/pool toys available (you really don’t have to bring ANYTHING with you other than a cooler!) Again, it was a fine visit, but I don’t think it was worth anywhere near what we paid. A few hundred dollars investment from the owner on the above items could’ve improved the stay drastically.
