Dirty, old, pet hair on the soft and pillows, dirty stove, dishwasher full of dirty dishes, dirty microwave oven, crappy pots & pans, old and chipped toilet seat ( YUK! ). Litter in the front yard, transients passing through all day, homeless encampment around the corner ccorner, cirnerthehest
Let me start off by saying we enjoyed our stay at this residence. We stayed there for 9 nights. It was conveniently located in Anchorage - close to Downtown, the airport, freeways and parks. The owner had everything we needed at the place. We were most impressed with the kitchen. We were able to buy food at the grocery store just down the street and prepare meals as opposed to constantly eating out. It saved us a lot of money. The apartment was also reasonably priced. July was a high tourist month and hotel prices were ridiculous.
A few things you need to consider if you plan to stay there:
1) As far as the location, it's not really located Downtown. But you can get to the Downtown area quickly. The area is a little questionable as others have mentioned. But the street itself was quiet and we felt very safe.
2) It's located on the second floor. You will have to take stairs to get into the residence. Not a problem for us.
3) The couch is not leather, it is gray and a fabric sofa. Not a deal breaker. It was probably replaced in recent years or months.
4) The floors were a little squeaky which made us concerned about the residents below. We stay up late.
Hopefully, they weren't too disturbed by us walking back and forth.
5) We could only get 5 channels on the TV. Not a deal breaker unless you want to watch a lot of TV.
Bottom line, we would stay there again. The price, location in Anchorage, and how the residence was well stocked make it ideal
Luke very nice helpful whenever I need help, he quickly responded. The place was pretty nice, clean, my wife was so excited about the kitchens had completed cookware sets.
Very convenience place to stay connected to everywhere, comfortable, quiet neighbors.

Listing on VRBO was fairly accurate. Photos need to be updated to show the recent conditions.
Neighborhood is a little questionable at times.
There was only 1 bath, hand, wash towel available to me on this 2 week trip. I let Luke know, but never found the additional towels he mentioned.
Seemed to be alot of older or left over personal items in kitchen and bath. The apartments was above I assume another unit or owners unit.
Overall nice little apartment could us new or cleaned rugs, less personal items. It seemed as if someone lives there when not rented.
I would say the most negative thing was all the homeless in that general area. But times are tough for alot of people right now.
Property was as advertised, clean, bed was comfy and very well stocked. Walking distance to grocery store and multiple restaurants. Took an Uber to others and was only $10 each way. Luke was very quick to respond to emails or texts. I would absolutely stay here again.
Thank you, Luke for giving us a clean, safe, cost efficient stay for our 16 days in Anchorage. Luke very communicative, generous and helpful. This property had everything we needed and was close to everything…restaurants, stores, parks, etc. highly recommended!
The place was very comfortable, especially the bed.
It had everything that we needed.
The neighborhood was sometimes questionable, but we always felt safe. No one bothered us and it was quiet.
We had great communication with Luke and the price was good.
i really enjoyed my stay here. i used the grill which was very much appreciated and the washer and dryer came in very handy. I felt there was great value in this property and would definitely rent here again!
We had a wonderful 11 night stay in Luke's apartment. The location is perfect for accessing both airports for excursions. The free washer & dryer were bonuses for doing laundry before moving on up to Denali NP on our 28 day trip. The kitchen allowed us to prepare some meals. Overall, a 5-star experience for a couple of senior citizens visiting Alaska for the first time!
Great place close to downtown in quite neigborhood
Property was exactly as on photos, clean and spacious. Ideal for 1 or 2 people. It was pretty close to downtown as well. Safeway is 3 min walks which makes it super convenient. Communication was also good
At a price less than a mediocre hotel in Anchorage we had a cool little place to stay with all the comforts of home - carport, small yard, outdoor grill, dishwasher, washer/dryer, comfortable bed and living room. The kitchen was well equipped with pots & pans, gadgets and utensils. The extra half-bath was a top selling point for me and it worked out well. We didn't watch much television - there's no cable but Anchorage has a surprising number of over the air channels that I don't get on my top of the line satellite package. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again!
Very nice with all the comforts. Older place (old bones) with updates. Very well taken care of. Walking distance to a nice pub and market. The neighborhood seemed to have a lot of homeless people but they didn’t pose a problem. I would definitely stay again. Luke was always available to answer questions.
Nice place to stay while exploring Anchorage area.
Easy renting experience with website and the owner. Very good communication and Luke made sure the place was comfortable during record heat in July. Had a great time on vacation and we were much more comfortable than staying in a comparably priced hotel. Thanks again.

Loved it, excellent unit to stay in, beats any hotel room.
Can't wait to stay here again. Just started 3 nights, but I could live here for the summer (or winter).

Great Downtown Apartment
This place was great for a long stay. It had everything we needed to cook, clean and do laundry. The place was nicely kept and a close walk to a grocery store and local bar. It’s also conviently located to all of the attractions downtown!
