Our group of 9 genuinely enjoyed our 5 day stay at this beautiful property. It was truly a home away from home where you can find everything you need for comfy living inside and the outside offers child friendly clear lake water with sandy bottom. On the good weather days we enjoyed swimming, paddleboarding, fishing or just sunbathing on the deck, and of course a breathtaking sunset. When the weather was not cooperating, we visited the Algonquin Logging Museum and simply enjoyed the raw beauty of Mother Nature. Thanks to easy communication with the host our stay went very smoothly with lots of wonderful memories to cherish.
This property was perfect for a family getaway with young cousins and grandparents. The house is extremely well equipped with all of the necessities as well as many more fun items such as kayaks, swimming pad, board games and children’s toys. The 5/6 bedrooms are all comfortable, clean and well equipped as are the bathrooms. The kitchen is big with 2 fridges to keep everything cool. Awesome outdoor space with many areas to sit and a nice dock with shallow sandy water for swimming. To top it all off Wendy was a fantastic above and beyond host who went to such effort to answer every little question we had and to ensure everything was perfect. We are very grateful for the experience and would love to return one day, highly recommend!

Needs new decking and the road into the property is not marked and is very rough. The potable water situation should be made clear in hosts book and on line. Also because the owner has two motorized crafts at the dock it was a little crowded when we had our own boat. The house itself was well equipped in the kitchen. Some of the beds were not too comfortable.
This a beautiful cottage on the water. The lake is shallow near the dock with a sandy bottom, perfect for swimming and relaxing Wendy has a canoe and kayaks available for use, all in good shape and great to take out on the lake and explore the area. There are 2 grocery stores within 5 mins from the cottage. The water situation is common all over rural Ontario and Wendy has a water cooler - not an issue at all. The cottage is spacious, with lots of spacious common areas and rooms. There's a massive deck that wraps around the home and you can bbq while viewing the lake. Beds were comfortable, however you have to account for the linen situation when reaching the cottage and / or leaving. The kitchen was very well equipped, and I saved the best for the last - every evening is a delight watching the sunset from the front living room.
