Enjoy the weekend or your week off in complete serenity in a scenery out of this world. Have a hot tea by the firepit, glass of wine on the patio facing the lake and go for a swim or canoe in Blackfish Bay and Madawaska River leading to Kamaniskeg Lake. Steps away from Snowmobile/ATV trails. We also have an outdoor hot tub, foosball table and telescope to add to your fun. Enjoy, and we'll be here to host you again next time :)

Nice place on the lake

Great view, nice accommodations. Well equipped with hot tub and nice yard down to beach. Clean and comfy.

Just beautiful

Check in was smooth, the cottage is just beautiful and includes everything youll need, the online pictures are very accurate. The area is nice too...lots of lakes, beaches, boating opportunities, hiking. Barrys Bay is handy for shopping or a meal.

Perfect getaway

This cozy cottage was a perfect winter getaway. Excellent location for our winter activities but close enough to a town of we needed anything. The cottage is well laid out with beautiful views of the lake. Communication with the owner was excellent. And with two big snowfalls, the property maintenance/ snow plowing was prompt. We all look forward to another family getaway here next year as the consensus between all family members.

Cottage review

The cottage and property are beautiful. Very clean and updated. Love the hot tub! Always able to reach Frank and he addressed any issues quickly. The only issue was that the hills around the property make it difficult to get around for people with mobility issues. Installing some steps on the hills would really help.

The property is remarkably clean and tidy despite it being Pet-friendly. The layout of the house is also very comfortable. Appliances are new and work well. Hot tub was very nice too except for a bit of sand at the bottom. We appreciate having two bathroom given the size of house. The fact that it can comfortably accommodate a party of six is what stands up from others. There were however too many flies in and around the property and renters are responsible for taking the garbage with the. Would have given it a five stars if we could receive check in information sooner and if full refund up to two weeks before check in.

Overall the property was good. There were things that were not noted in the original listing that may be helpful to travellers coming in. The water is not drinkable and you need to bring your own drinking water. The garbage and recycle removal is the responsibility of the renter, and you are charged if you do not bring the garbage to the garbage disposal site. This proved to be very inconvenient for us. There is plenty of towels, kitchen cookware and dishes, cutlery and other useful kitchen gadgets and tools. If you are planning on cooking you have everything you need. The lighting is not great in the bedroom lamp. There were not other lightbulbs in the rental unit. If you use a lamp, pack a couple bulbs. The hot tub was lovely. The property is lovely, great access to the water, the dock and firepit were both awesome.

This cozy cottage is quite spacious! The hot tub was what I was after and it did not disappoint, even at -25degrees.The only thing I would point out is that you need to bring your own drinking water.

Our cottage is located in one of the most gorgeous cottage areas in Ontario, with super friendly, nice people living in this area making it a great place to get away from the crazy big city life and really enjoy and feel peace and reset your soul.
