We just stopped here overnight as stopping point while traveling on. We would definitely stay at this hospitable and amazing location again. We enjoyed sleeping with the windows open so we could hear the river running past all night.
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the river. Wish we would have had more time to stay and enjoy the property.
Very coozy place, very clean and lovely for a romantic week-end.
The sound of the river next to the cabin is relaxing and its very peacefull.

We loved hearing the river from our cabin. You are right on the water and can sit on the bed and see the river rush by. The owners were very nice and the room was clean. We can't wait to have the opportunity to stay again!
This cabin was so beautiful and cozy. The location by the river was so peaceful and the fall colors were magnificent. We would love to stay here again when we have more time to take advantage of all of the amenities that the cabin and area have to offer. The hosts created an amazing getaway.

I can't think of a more perfect place for two nature lovers to spend a long weekend! It was incredibly relaxing to fall asleep to the sounds of the Rio Grande. Fritz and Paula were fabulous hosts, and Cobi the Dog was a great coffee companion. We can't wait to come back to lounge and explore. Thank you again for having us!
We had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable. The setting was just beautiful and I enjoyed walking by the river and through the cottonwoods behind the house (where I saw a sweet great horned owl on a fence post - a real treat!). We were only sorry that our stay was short.
The property is located on the river with fishing and games and campfires right out your back door. It was very clean and Paula and Fritz are right there for your every need. You can even take a kayak or raft down the river and they will pick you up. The only thing we were missing was a microwave but we became creative which I guess is what you should do when staying in a cabin. We would definitely stay again!
The Rio Grande River provided a delightful background sound in this well-built and furnished cabin. Paula and Fritz were very accommodating and gracious hosts offering helpful suggestions of places to hike and fish. We enjoyed the gorgeous mountain views as we roasted hotdogs at the firepit. It was hard to leave this delightful mountain retreat after a full week. Riverside Meadows will definitely be our number one place to stay in South Fork, Colorado.

Thanks for the great review! We are really glad to hear you guys enjoyed your stay, that is our goal. Sorry I missed you guys when you left and glad to hear you found the fish!
Hope you had safe travels home, Fritz and Paula
We stayed in the main cabin studio. Very clean and cute-perfect for a weekend stay with your significant other. We very much enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and peaceful feel of the location right on the river.
Couple things to note- There is no door to the bathroom, and the sliding glass door entrance faces the owner's sliding glass door entrance. This didn't bother us much, but to those that greatly value privacy this space might not be for you.
Paula and Fritz are amazing hosts. Very easy going and available if needed. Coby (their dog on the property) is adorable and very well behaved. Hoping to come back when it's warmer so we can utilize the kayaks!
The cabin was beautiful, clean, cozy inside and beautiful, serene, pleasant outside. Enjoyed the hot tub, grill, flowing river sounds, and peace after skiing Wolf Creek. Perfect little get away.
We were extremely impressed with this property! The owners live onsite and we’re very personable and accommodating! We loved the area as it was quiet and relaxing. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable and quite charming!
The experience was terrific! Attention to every detail made a this experience truly memorable. My wife & I hope/plan to return in the future. Thank you gracious hosts!
