There’s no excuse for missed garbage or a stove not being properly cleaned, and we’ll be addressing this with our housekeeping team to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Thank you for your 4 star review Vera. I am so glad you liked the home and found it clean on check in. Turning to your comments re AC in the garage, unfortunately, as it is a games room/garage we are not allowed to have ac. The home was not advertised as having ac in the garage so you would have been aware prior to booking. Regarding the spa, we sent out a licensed Pool Company who confirm the pool and spa heat were working fine, unfortunately, as they were found to be working we are unable to refund a service received.

I’d like to personally apologise for the pool light issue – we were waiting on a replacement part from the manufacturer which we chased on a daily basis but looking back though the notes we could have updated you further . I’m sorry that communication wasn’t as it should have been. We’ll be reviewing this with the team to make sure guests are updated promptly in the future. With regards to the BBQ, this was supplied by an outside company. Had you informed us that it was not working, we could have arranged a replacement for you straight away.

To say I am shocked by your one star review would be an understatement. WOW 1 star for this home that was only 14 months old when you stayed back in August. Are you sure you have reviewed the correct home as you only stayed here for 3 nights and you mentioned in your review you stayed a week?. I have also checked the message threads and you did not raise any issues with us despite us checking in with you twice during your stay. This home is not only 14 months old but on a prestigious gate community with many communal facilities on offer. When you reserve a home with us we are very transparent with our requirements – this is also pointed out to you during the booking process. In fact, you must tick a box before you make a payment confirming you agree to the terms so you would have been aware prior to check in of all requirements. As its self-check in we do require a photo of your picture ID and a picture of you holding it – this is not only to protect you from credit card fraud but also to protect us too. You booked this home on 26th July and we immediately sent you a list of requirements that you FAILED to supply despite us constantly reminding you for them (as this can delay check in). So, to rate us one star for you not taking care of pre check in requirements in a timely manner does not sit well with me at all. I have also checked the advert and I can’t see where we advise the home comes with a grill especially when are first booking message to you is thanking you for your booking and asking if you would like to book pool heat or grill hire – so I’m not sure why you though grill hire would be included. Another reason why I think you have reviewed the wrong home – you did not ask for grill hire so we did not rent one for you (we use an outside company) so how can you say the grill was so small (as there wasn’t one there).
