From start to finish our vacation home in Mayville was PERFECT! House has everything you need so just bring your luggage. Views were absolutely amazing!! From the deck, to the dock, and proximity to all you need was just perfect! Debbie friendly and accommodating not that we needed anything! Neighbors friendly and also helpful. Perfect in every area. Thanks Debbie we had a great time.

Perfect Lakeside Retreat

Deb and Mickey are friendly and gracious hosts. This wonderful getaway has everything you need including spectacular views, beautiful sunsets and the perfect atmosphere for rest and relaxation. We would highly recommend this property and hosts!

Perfect Lake Vaca

Family of 5 (ages 1, 4, 6) rented Mickey’s place for 4 nights. Perfect lake house for our family. Backyard is nice and flat for playing in. Roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. Rented a boat and tied it off the dock during our stay. Mickey was kind and helpful with some local tips (shopping nearby).

Overall very positive experience.

As first time VRBO users found it a little confusing. Would have liked more personal communication. End result was positive with Evolve. Also once there, it would have been less confusing if cottage had house numbers attached along with numbers that were at street. It would have also been helpful if designated parking was labeled with the cottage house numbers. A little confusing for first time renters.

Response from owner: "There is house numbering on a 4 x 4-foot roadside sign as well as 4 " reflective numbering at the driveway on both sides. Sorry if you weren't able to see it. The yellow house shown on the listing looks just like the house our guests occupy. Hope to see you again another time."

Great place to enjoy the lake

Hosts Mickey and Deb were wonderful. Great location near Chatauqua Inst. and north end of lake. Beautiful view from living room, deck and dock. Family of 5 with 3 teenagers. Place very clean and had everything we needed. All loved it. Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Great weekend getaway

We loved this little lake front cottage. It was clean and well cared for. The views of the lake are amazing. The location was perfect for visiting local wineries and great restaurants. We will certainly be back!!

simply wonderful

We have stayed at a number of lake front properties and this was by far the best. The house is well kept, spacious with a wonderful view of the lake, just plain relaxing. The dock facilities were very nice as we brought along our boat for a little cruising and fishing. But as good as the house is the owners were better. Great people. You won't be dissapointed.
