Welcome to our cozy 4-bedroom vacation home in the charming town of Mayville! Nestled just a 10-minute drive from the renowned Chautauqua Institution and a 22-minute drive from the stunning shores of Lake Erie, this property offers the perfect base for your getaway.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all the dishes and utensils you'll need to whip up delicious meals. It was close to the institute which I found fascinating as you go there to become enlightened. And the Chautauqua golf course interestingly was the runway for Amelia Erhardt as she was speaking at the institute! My kids enjoyed it. I must come back with my friends next time. Thank u so much

Fabulous cottage for both adults and children. It is clean and stocked well with everything you need. Plenty of fans for the hotter days and lots of space to play outside in the yard or in the water. There is a little roadside fruit stand/market near to restock on local produce, eggs, and more. Anything you could want to do is either a short drive or boat ride. We were very impressed and will definitely be back.

Perfect place for families to enjoy

We stay here once-two times per year. We love the cottage because it’s roomy enough for 8 adults, it has a great kitchen that has all you need, Tops Markets is five minutes away, there’s a private dock. It just has all you would want.

I grew up in Westfield, NY. My wife and I purchased this home in late-2014 as a way to keep ties with my hometown and relatives, and to provide my family with a wonderful getaway location where we can make lasting memories.

Why they chose this property

Our house in Mayville is a great gathering place for both friends and families. We are relatively new owners of this house (closed on 12/31/14) and are excited to make continuous improvements to the home for all of us, guests included, to enjoy for years to come.

What makes this property unique

The large lakefront lot is secluded much more than most, providing the privacy that we all desire. Views of the lake are spectacular with easy access to a private dock.
