Summary:

Set above Huruhi Bay, Bluebelle is a renovated Waiheke cottage with sea views, a sunny deck, wood-burning fire and separate children’s sleepout. Sleeping up to 6 guests with a maximum of 4 adults, it suits families, couples and dog-friendly stays, with Little Oneroa Beach a 15-minute walk away and Oneroa Village just a few minutes by car.

The Space:

Bluebelle is a renovated Waiheke cottage overlooking Huruhi Bay, with a sunny outdoor deck, flexible family sleeping arrangements and a separate sleepout.

Bi-fold doors connect the kitchen and living area with the partially covered sea-facing deck, where there is a large outdoor dining table, seating and a BBQ. The elevated position provides views across the bay and gives the main living spaces an easy indoor-outdoor connection.

Inside, the open-plan living area has wooden floors, a ceiling fan and a wood-burning fireplace for cooler stays. There is no TV at the property.

The kitchen is well equipped for everyday holiday cooking, with the outdoor dining area and BBQ providing another option for meals during warmer weather. The BBQ was replaced in April 2026.

The main bedroom has a queen bed, reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating, and a desk. The second bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed.

A separate sleepout provides additional sleeping space for children. It contains a triple bunk and its own desk, with an external toilet available nearby.

The property sleeps a maximum of 6 guests, with no more than 4 adults.

The perfect bach overlooking Surfdale beach

The location was great: overlooking surfdale beach, a short walk to cafes. The large covered outdoor table is perfect for playing board games. The beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved our stay.

Chic and modern bach

Really relaxed in this cottage that the owners have carefully designed. Generous with eco products and amenities. One thing to note is the car has to be parked at the beach and you need to walk your luggage and the master bed is very firm. New bed and pillows would ensure a 10/10 rating 😊
