Stay to rejuvenate

We stayed for a week at the lovely "KiNam Vinea", including our one year old dog. Loved the peace, bush walks and just walking around the property. Well positioned as well. There are plenty of nearby (20-30 drive) places to enjoy a nice lunch and activities as well.

Crackin' wee place

Absolutely gorgeous location with views you would never get sick of. We stayed with our doggie who loved sniffing around outside. She even saw her first bunny! Fantastic outdoor space as well all under cover. We will definitely be back. Lovely hosts as well always responsive when you contact them. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Really lovely spot and a nice house to spend time in. Pot belly stove was not useable during our stay as it had water in it. However we were there during ridiculously bad weather. We lost power with high wind but the hosts were very proactive contacting us and would have come over to start the generator if needed. Grocery extras are a kind addition.

Peace, Privacy & Serenity - Couples or the whole Family!

As a retired couple looking for a short mid-week stay surrounded by nature, this property was ideal and offered a budget-friendly option for us. We enjoyed our short stay (3 nights) and we had everything we needed. The surrounding natural bushland and wildlife was beautiful and abundant. This property is suitable for children but they would need to be supervised at all times as there is an open dam (down a very steep dirt track) and vast wooded forrests opposite a lovely vineyard. On that note though, the huge undercover back carport/deck area is big enough for riding bikes, throwing a ball, a game of cricket etc. Providing shelter from the rain and sun, we loved this area and spent quite a lot of time there during the day and early evening. This farmhouse is culturally traditional in its styling so if you are expecting 5 star luxury with modern furniture and state-of-the-art decor, this is not for you. Having said that, it's very warm and comfortable, great quality bedding and super comfy bed in the primary bedroom, big family kitchen - an easy living family home. Local shops not close so make sure you take everything with you that you will need for your stay. As the crow flies, yes, 7-8kms realistic, but roads leading to property unmade and driveway leading to the farmhouse is quite treacherous in the wet (which is what we encountered). A four wheel drive or similar is recommended. Pot belly stove in the kitchen works, but filled the living room and kitchen with smoke, so we didn't use it. There is a split system in both the lounge and the primary bedroom, so still warm. No doors on second bedroom and third bedroom so they're open. Closing door on primary bedroom only. Depending on what you're looking for, there are some great positives in this vineyard/farmhouse property.

Great spot for a relaxing time

Beautiful location with lots of wildlife and gorgeous natural setting. House was comfortable with a lovely outdoor area for meals and drinks. Plenty to do around the area but nice to be in a secluded spot with a great view and plenty of space and amenity to relax and recharge.

Chris and his family were excellent guests. It took us bit more time to clean up the house before Chris could check-in as the earlier guests left the house in a bad condition. Chris and his family were considerate of that with patience and readily accepted to check-in bit later. They observed all the house rules and and left the house in a perfect condition. Happy to host them again any time.
