Perfect for families

We had a wonderful time staying is Asaf's home. It was clean, safe, and he provided many amenities. We were able to get in touch with him quickly for anything, he was a very responsive and friendly host. We would definitely stay again and hope to visit again.

Excellent property and very homely

There were 4 of us from different parts of the world. David and Asaf's property ticked all the boxes and we were there in a great heat wave. With the cooling/heating in most rooms (especially the bedrooms) it made it so comfortable. Communication and greeting was excellent. Thank you David and Asaf.

Great stay in Queens

Recently completed a fabulous ten days at Asaf and David's lovely home in Queens, NY. The location was ideal for a party of five from the Caribbean, with easy access to transportation for our regular shopping and site seeing trips. The house is quite spacious and ideal for small or large groups. The beds are comfortable, the a/c functions well and all the required amenities are provided for a comfortable stay. The kitchen deserves special mention (yes we love to cook). It is extremely large and well stocked, easily facilitating the daily preparation of meals. While we did not get an opportunity to meet Asaf in person, he was quite helpful in communicating all the relevant details leading up to our arrival in Queens. However, we were quite fortunate to meet David who was extremely hospitable and a delight to chat with. He made us feel at home, provided useful information and even assisted in arranging transportation at a very stressful time for our departure to the airport at the end of our stay. This is our second VRBO vacation rental and like the first, it did not disappoint. Thank you David and Asaf for facilitating our wonderful vacation in New York.

An Amazing weekend

Comfortable Stay

It was a comfortable stay for a family of 7. There are three rooms for us. Host provides towels, shampoo, kitchen utensils, etc. They even provide computer and printer for us to print out tourism info. Walking distance to subway. We took subway to Manhattan everyday for 3 days. Though it takes about 12-15 mins each way for the family members, but it's acceptable. Walking distance to a small grocery store, restaurant, and laundry mat.

Lovely stay!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and had all the amenties we needed! The beds were comfortable and the pretty plants inside and out were cheerful. The house is well equiped. All you need and more for a stay. Kitchen has all appliances and utensils. There are basics ingredients available for cook like species, oilcoffe. You only need to buy food to cook. The House overall is very clean, beds are comfortable. Location is very good..One block from the Bus Stop, supermarket and small restaurants. Train station near and accesible walking and by bus. Manhathan is about to 25 minutes taking F or E subway. We really enjoy our stay!!

Great accessible house for the city

We stayed for one week and it was the perfect accommodation for coming back to after a day in the city. It is easily accessible to the subway and also to local food shops. Asaf and David were more than helpful both before and during the stay.

Charming house in safe, quaint neighborhood

Our family stayed at this rental for 6 nights at the end of June/beginning of July 2016. We had an amazing time! The owners, David and Asaf, were wonderful to work with before getting there with answering questions and working out details. They both met us at the house upon our arrival to give us a tour of the house and discuss our stay. Asaf even drove us to buy our Metro tickets for the week and teach us which bus routes/subway stops to use! They made great recommendations for close by restaurants and other needed items such as grocery, pharmacy, etc. They could not have been nicer, more helpful or more delightful! The house itself is located in a quaint and beautiful neighborhood. We felt very safe the entire stay and getting around was very easy. The house was very comfortable and lent itself to a much needed place to be together and relax after a day in the city or to slowly wake up with coffee and breakfast in the mornings. It was great to have a kitchen so that not every meal was eaten out. The kitchen was equipped with all that we needed. The beds were very comfortable, the AC worked well and the living area was spacious. In addition, there was a covered parking spot that we used as it was equally easy to drive to Long Island and explore as it was to take the Metro into NYC to explore. Great location to be able to do both. I would highly recommend this house to a group of 6 or less. You will have plenty of room and can even enjoy a nice front sitting area in a pretty front yard. David and Asaf also have a green thumb so you can enjoy their many plantings and flowers while you relax outdoors!

Acrobats wife (big apple circus)

Amazing home and service. We were very pleased with our stay....they made us feel just at home. Came into town with my children and mom to visit my husband at work. The home was clean and comfortable and also provided many additional items that you will never get it a hotel. Very pleased with our results and if ever in town again will be booking this house. Thank you David 💗 for making our first time renting a home a grand experience.

Accommodating Owners, Very Nicely Equipped

Our group of seven thoroughly enjoyed our stay. David and France were very helpful and accommodated all of our requests. The house is spacious with a terrific kitchen. The neighborhood had all we needed, with a very close grocery and liquor store and an easy walk to the subway.

Five Stars!!!

If you want to be treated like a valued guest or family member, you have found your vacation home! The pictures do not do justice to how nice & comfortable this home is. Soft beds & whirlpool tub are very nice after touring/walking the city. David & France will treat you like royalty, from all the little extras they have in the home, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, maps, raincoats, a fully stocked kitchen (minus the food, of course)---you will not want or need anything, and if you do, David & France are more than happy to help. I would definitely utilize the bus to get to the subway, part of the walk is uphill & it was windy/cold when we stayed, you get a free transfer, anyway. Do allow yourself at least 45 min travel time to the city, as is stated on the website. We were having a leisurely stay and did not mind, its up to you what kind of experience you want. The Key Foods grocery story was very nice & a short walk away, lots of prepared food choices, if you want to avoid cooking. Cannot express enough how enjoyable our stay was, both because of the service and accommodations we were provided. Thanks so much, David & France!

Wedding Experience 2014

David and France were such gracious hosts and made sure we had every comfort we could possibly need. Directions, maps, recommendations and they were available for any questions by just giving them a call. The home was safe, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the area and felt like it was truly a home away from home. Would stay there again if we have another group traveling to New York.

Very good location with amazing and helpful owners

This property is near to trains buses and the Grand Central Pkwy. There is a grocery store a block away. The owners of this property are the most amazing, helpful, and knowledgeable people I have met. We arrived at the end of an exhausting trip to the US and Canada as a group of older adults from Thailand. The owners arranged to meet us at the bus terminal in Manhattan and while one transported our LARGE load of luggage to the house the other showed us to a place to get cleaned up in the city so that we could start sightseeing. Truly exceptional folks. The house is large, clean and very comfortable. The owners supplied milk, bread and egg staples. After our stay we were so tired, some of the group being over 80 years old, the owners transported us to the airport. This is the place to stay if you are going to NYC. Thank you both very much for making our stay wonderful! Nim

Awesome Stay!

My family and I stayed a week at this property and it was perfect! David was waiting for us as we arrived from the airport. I am so glad we went this route versus a hotel stay for a week. The house was stocked with everything anybody could need including staples like milk, eggs and bread. Great location and took us around 30 minutes via bus and train to get to the city. We had my elderly mother with and the bus stops were 2 blocks away. Thanks so much for providing exactly as described in the ad.

The property was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!

The property exceeded our expectations! France and David were simply marvelous! They were so accommodating including helping us park the car, helping w/the luggage, food in the fringe, and so many other things they did to make our stay most comfortable. Very hospitable and very comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. David and France were so kind and helpful, giving us information about New York City and the metro. They were there to greet us and to send us off and were so very helpful. The house was very comfortable and clean and neat. It was at least as good as the photos online or nicer. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well (as it was 100 degrees when we were there). The walk to the train was only 10 minutes and it was a very safe area. Their advertising of everything was truthful: so no worries! We would definitely recommend this home for a family of 6.

Quiet, secure, comfortable house in Queens.

Just as advertised. Owner was gracious and accommodating. There was even milk, bread, juice and other essentials provided, so we didn't have to run out to the store immediately after arriving! There was plenty of room with a large living room and an open floor plan for kitchen and dining room. It was all very clean. There also was a secure driveway with gate to park the car. I would definitely recommend this house. -Steve
