Had a wonderful stay in Niagara on the Lake at Roland's place. Communication with him was easy and the check in process was as smooth as it gets. Our stay was lovely, with the place having everything we needed and the location was wonderful, walkable to the main street and local shops and pubs. Roland was an amazing host and the house was exactly as described. He had it stocked with coffee pods and creamers, energy bars and cookies and lots of bottled waters!!! So nice!The location was next to the beautiful gardens of Pillar and Post and a short walk to all the shopping, eating and action!Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!!!

We really enjoyed our stay and Bissell's Hideaway. Roland provided great communication and greeted us when we arrived. The home is clean and Roland provided everything we needed and more. There were even fresh flowers on the table for us to enjoy! The location allowed us to walk and explore Niagara on the Lake very easily.. This is one of the best rentals we have experienced!

There was 3 of us in our party and we all had a wonderful time in Niagara-On-The-Lake all helped by the fact the property was clean, nicely laid out and in a lovely spot. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was excellent and the shower was very good (hot and a nice flow of water). The main lounge is air conditioned which came in handy as we had some very warm days whilst there.It's a short walk to the main drag, about 15 minutes for a slow stroll and there is a bike hire company 10 minutes walk away. The bikes are great for cycling to the vinyards (it's very flat) and there are plenty of cycle paths, but even where there are no cycle paths the roads are very quiet and also flat.There's lots of parking at the front of the house should you need it and Roland, the owner, was on hand to give some hints and tips as well.Thanks Roland, 5 stars from us.

Great location and everything we needed

This is a great property within walking distance to the main street, theatres and restaurants. Really comfortable for two couples. Roland was responsive and provided everything we needed including tea, coffee, bottled water etc. Great location and value, we would stay again!

The house was perfect for my family. Roland was timely in his communication, had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and even provided some recommendations of things to do in the area. Perfect!!

Highly recommend staying here! The location was extremely convenient for us and the property was perfect. Loved the fireplace and the beds were SO comfortable. Roland is an amazing host. Great communication and so easy to check in! Would definitely stay again.

Bissel's Hideaway is such a lovely place to stay while in Niagara on the Lake. It is far enough away from the downtown core that it is nice and quiet but it is close enough to take a nice walk downtown. There is a lovely walking trail nearby and the neighbours are amazing. We will stay again. Roland is a gracious host and everything you need is provided. Check in is so easy and this home is so quaint and on a lovely, quiet tree-lined street.

I would stay here again!!

Fantastic location, very clean, great host. There were 2 of us, but you could easily have 3-4 people. Great for cyclists, super close to vineyards. Highly recommend! Thank you Roland!

Wonderful place!

My husband and I stayed at Roland’s place for a mini getaway. It was in the perfect location and very close to the town and shops, we even walked to dinner one night! Roland is so nice and left us some things to make us feel comfortable. I would absolutely recommend staying here and we hope to be back when the weather is warmer!

Tranquil stay in NOTL

A small group of us (two couples) had a great relaxing weekend as we attended an Aston Martin event in NOTL. The property was exactly as advertised and our host was so welcoming and hospitable. Greetings. My name is Roland. I am retired. I was lucky enough to purchase the family home where I grew up in NOTL. I renovated my family home in 2012 and was able to purchase my grandmothers home next door in 2015. We renovated my grandmothers home in 2022 and called it Bissell's Hideaway. Our guests tell us that we have one of the best locations in NOTL, the property appears as in the photos, and it is fully equipped to cook and eat in (including a selection of spices). We're located on a quiet tree lined street. The property is 700 square feet, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and it's perfect for those weekend getaways for one or two couples and we've hosted many ladies weekend getaways too.

If you are looking for clean, charming, great location, then Bissell's Hideaway is the perfect spot for you and your family & friends.
