Beautiful home with a lovely rural outlook and welcoming host. The modern cottage itself was very well appointed and very clean. Absolutely everything you need for a short break in the Coromandel. The outdoor bath was great; bed and living area very comfortable.A short drive to Coroglen Tavern, Whitianga, Hot Water Beach, Hahei and the walk to Cathedral Cove. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend if you are looking for peace and quiet. Thanks, Anne for your attention to detail; we had a wonderful stay.

Great property in a great location. Really well equipped and extremely comfortable. We experienced very bad weather during our stay so didn’t get chance to enjoy the excellent outdoor space but great views and very quiet.

Hard to Fault

While no where is perfect, this is a great property and host. From the welcome sign at the gate, though to the supplies provided, meeting Anne and David and getting a rundown on the property, everything was really well done. It's a quiet property with a peaceful rural outlook, it had everything we needed (and more). While we don't keep a tally, it's probably the best place BaB place we've stayed. The beds were comfortable, the cottage was clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There was also the bonus of the carport where we could unload out of the rain. There is a 10GB limit on the wifi, but we weren't staying there so we could spend all our time on the internet or streaming movies. All in all, it was a really good place for us to stay. Thanks very much for your hospitality Anne and David.

Sweet Escape

Enjoyed this great property out in the country. It's very private and secluded yet very accessible to most if the attractions. Our host Anne and David are lovely. They took the time to meet me and my friends and welcomed us. The place has nice views of the farmland with great sunsets. Would love to come back again. Easily one for our books of staycation. Thanks Anne and David 👍

These were very nice guests ..we had a storm which caused a power outage for 2 days and they took it all in their stride. By the way it wasn’t restored until 11am the next day..Thank you for being so understanding.

A relaxing week away at Coroglen

The Orchard Cottage is a lovely property, well maintained and in a great position with wide country views from the deck. Anne is a good host and made sure that we had everything we needed. We’ve used Bookabach for many years and this is the best property we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommended.
