We had a great stay at this house in Hinton! It was very large and had everything we needed for our group of 6 visiting Jasper NP. The house is well decorated and appointed, check-in/out were smooth and easy, and we would definitely recommend this house and would stay again!

Excellent stay for 8 adults. Close to nature trails and a short drive to provincial and national parks. Host responded quickly to questions and had provided an nice supply of indoor and outdoor games.

Family get away

Excellent stay in this beautiful home. Location was perfect for us as we wanted to explore the Cadomin & William A. Switzer Provincial Park. Home had all we wanted & more. Bonus backing on to Hinton’s beautiful Beaver Boardwalk! Added touches like chocolates was very much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

3 generation family vacation

This house was perfect for our large family. We really enjoyed having the 2 levels with plenty of space to spread out. House was very well stocked with the basics. Nice trail system right out the backyard. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great family home near Beaver Boardwalk

Check in process was very easy and hosts responded right away when we had a power issue. Both levels have kitchens allowing two groups or kids and adults separated if desired. Beautiful backyard and patio backing up against forest trails and Beaver Boardwalk we walked each morning and night.

Honestly the most comfortable I have been with my family at a vrbo. All the little details were taken care of. House has character and an amazing trail behind house.

Outstanding!

The Hudeawayonthehill was a great place to stay! The house is spaciou and well equipped for our every need. We loved the decks and grills on both the upper and lower levels. The location in Hinton was convenient for shopping and restaurants. The boardwalk and hiking trails located directly behind the house are fantastic. I highly recommend thie Hudeaway as a place to stay.

Great space - close to the Beaver Trial

Nice Quiet Neighborhood, right off of the Beaver trail. Spacious accommodations - we used the whole house. The bottom kitchen was great and the bottom floor was cooler and was a great hang-out space. Nice decks to relax on. Great touches like a couple of sparkling waters in the fridge after a long drive from Edmonton. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area!

High school Friend’s weekend

House was perfect size for 4 couples with 5 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms. The kitchens were well equipped & bbq was great. We spent most of our time on lower deck reminiscing about old times. The house is about an hour from the town of Jasper so we did take in a boat tour & enjoyed visiting Folding Mountain Brewing for a great lunch which was just outside of town.

enjoyed our stay

We has a great stay. Having 2 kitchens was great for cooking for Christmas. Beautiful location with backyard access to walking trail. Nice decor. We did have family members stay who have mobility issues and the beds on the main floor are really high. There are step stools provided making the beds accessible but challenging to get in/out of for some. Otherwise great stay, we had a great time.

Very accommodating for large groups

We had 12 total and there was plenty of room for everyone. Having two living areas allowed the teenagers to hang in one area and the adults in the other. The backyard and porches were lovely as well for morning coffee. The trail behind the house was such a pleasant surprise. The hosts responded to my message within 10-15 minutes. Great place, would definitely stay here again!

Hinton Stay

We are glad we selected the property. The information brouchures and other books were helpful. We wanted to use the bigger kitchen and living area in the basement , but it was too cold of the most of us. Wish there was way to heat up the area other than that electric fire place.

Passionate and friendly owners with well equipped and maintained property

Property was well maintained and equipped. Owners provided complimentary wine, chocolate and popcorn which was sweet. Also appreciated tha pancake batter for breakfast on the go. It says15 mins from Jasper, which meant from Jasper national park north entrance. From Jasper town it is about 75km which sometimes felt longer after a long day of travelling. However the road from jasper to Hinton always had good wildlife to watch like mountain goats, deer and elk.

Great stay close to the Rockies

Our group had three families with 4 kids ranging from 4 to 10 years. The communication with host Meagan was awesome and we had an incredible stay at this charming and clean property walking distance from the beautiful Beaver Boardwalk. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the serene beauty and calm surroundings of the back patio that opens up to a lush forest. The trail to the boardwalk can be access directly from the backyard. The property’s kid- and family friendly amenities made it a choice for our family getaway. Our children had a blast exploring the surrounding nature, and the outdoor games entertained all of us for hours. It’s clear that the owners have put a lot of thought into making this place enjoyable for families, and we truly appreciated it. We had rented the whole house and One of the standout features was the presence of not just one, but two well-stocked kitchens. All in all, our experience at this property was nothing short of exceptional.

Cozy home away from home

The location was great - convenient to businesses in Hinton, but on a quiet street with a lovely view of a nature preserve out the back. House was well-equipped with everything you could need, with many thoughtful homey touches. Host responded quickly to any inquiry. A great place to stay while exploring Jasper National Park.

Stylish, spacious, comfortable and welcoming.

Fabulous hosts - very responsive and great instructions for check-in, made it easy. The moment we walked through the door we felt welcome. It's a beautiful home, the photos don't do it justice - lots of space, comfortable, stylish, well-equipped. You are literally seconds away from the Beaver Boardwalk (and yes, we did see some beavers swimming around!) and lots of other trails. The house manual and tourist leaflets were really helpful, there is so much to see in and around the area (not just via Jasper) with great local tips. Great stay in a great place - thank you!

Hinton house

Nice house backing onto a walking trail to a beaver pond. The house was perfect for our family of five. Hinton is a little bit of a drive to Jasper but was very doable with our three teen/young adult children. It is a spacious house with ample sleeping room and many amenities. We enjoyed our stay!

Exceeded our expectations

We absolutely loved our stay. Roomy, comfortable and a beautiful location overlooking the Beaver Boardwalk. Included all the amenities we could possibly need and then some. Host was excellent communicating and check-in was a breeze. Will definitely book here again.
