Our family of 5 stayed here for a couple days to explore Jasper. It was clean, in a quiet area with mountain views, easy to find so the check in process was smooth, and had almost everything we need including toys and books for kids.
We stayed here for a weekend ski trip to Marmot. Good place to hang out after a day of skiing. Beds are comfortable, the place is clean, and everything was as described in the listing. Will stay here again.

What a lovely spot to stay in Hinton! Our family loved our stay here, we walked to the Beaver Boardwalk and explored the area, we were close to grocery stores and gas stations and restaurants which was very convenient. We also loved being so close to Jasper as we could venture into the Park for the day and be back home in time for dinner in our lovely rental. The space was perfect for visiting and playing board games together. The big field out the back was great for the kids and the neighbour was quiet and lovely to walk around.
Owners responded promptly to our messages and were happy to assist us when needed. We felt safe and secure and would highly recommend this rental to families travelling to the mountains.
We enjoyed our time in the area. The house was clean, spacious, and fit our needs. Additional pots and pans (but we made it work) and a grill would be nice additions. We thank you for letting us use your house and if we are back in the area, we will definitely try to stay here again.
Comfortable and clean-there were 8 adults and we were not crowded. Extra touches that would help a young family - high chair, a few toys. Laundry in the basement with a convenient area to dry out gear. Could use some more kitchen supplies but very functional. Would recommend staying here.

Unfortunately this property was not as expected. It's well past it's best and needs a lot of work to bring it up to standard. Kitchen was not as clean as it should have been, pots and pans old and dirty. Dirty mugs. The whole kitchen needs replacing. All mattresses and beds need replacing. No support from the mattresses and one bed is squeaky. Window blinds broken in many of the rooms. Basement carpet was dirty and stained. The upstairs bathroom looked as if it was relatively new, but the grout needs a thorough clean as it was stained in many areas. The location is very good and the house has a lot of potential, but unfortunately it's not been looked after and is in need of a lot of work.
Stayed at this property for two nights. Enjoyed the stay. The home is clean and beautiful, with lots of space and nice touches. Kitchen is missing a few small items if you plan on cooking! Asked two questions of the host/ reported a plumbing problem while staying at the property - and recieved no response. May be challenging if more significant issues arose.

Hinton stay
Overall, the property has lots of amenities however, our stay was affected by smell of gas leak and heater not appropriately working. For two days we had freezing water out of the three we stayed at this place. Attempts to contact the property manager was not returned and finally has to call VRBO to resolve our problem. They were able to connect and find a solution.
As a group of friends who get together every year, this accommodation suited our needs very well. It was clean and very spacious. We had a good time together. We did our own cooking so the kitchen was large and suitable. However, it could have used more serving bowls etc. We were appreciative of the Kurig coffee maker, but a regular filter coffee maker would have been nice. We missed not having a toaster, but improvised with the oven broil feature, which proved to be an excellent way of making 10 slices at a time. The location was wonderful, being able to walk from there down to the Beaver Boardwalk area, which was very scenic. William Switzer park also proved to be a great place for winter hiking. Thanks Colin for making this great accommodation available to us.

This house was the perfect location for our family. It was clean, bright and comfortable. We enjoyed the mountains and surrounding areas.
Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there was some hiccups:
The home owner was difficult to get a response from. The communication was slow if any. I did speak to them on the phone which was great way of communicating but email and text was very slow if any response. The laundry wasn’t finished, which I did communicate to the owner. They responded that the cleaning crew would be over the next morning They were not. There was several
After a long, beautiful drive from Banff along the Icefields Parkway, we drove the extra hour from Jasper to Hinton to stay at this house. At first glance of the neighborhood, it seemed less than ideal (some car repair projects next door), but it is actually a nice neighborhood with a school and a couple of parks in walking distance. We entered the house and were impressed with its cleanliness, neat decor, and ample space for our two (actually three) families traveling together. The parents had plenty of space while the teens took over the basement (the only TV is downstairs. We used the kitchen a lot, appreciated the tea selection and Keurig, and sat on the back porch with a wide-open view of the sky and hills. We used the dishwasher and the washer/dryer as well. The field behind the house was also a nice place for the teens to horse around. Colin was responsive with communications, but there wasn't much to say, as he'd done a great job setting us up for a wonderful two-night stay. Hinton also has all the amenities we needed. We were so thankful for this house!
This property is great for a family of five. The hosts were great to communicate with. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Way better than taking two hotel rooms. I recommend this property.
