Steps to the LaFitte Greenway!
North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This home is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks, including Jackson Square (1.6 Miles), Caesars Superdome/Smoothie King Center (1.3 Miles), City Park (3.5 Miles), and Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 (3.3 Miles).

Home & living
The single-level interior is bright and welcoming, with a layout that works equally well for families, groups of friends, or a mix of both. The living room anchors the space with a 48-inch HDTV carrying standard cable, Netflix, Roku, and Hulu - ready for a relaxed afternoon or a quiet evening in. High-speed Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace behind a closed door keep remote workers and trip planners connected, while central air conditioning, ceiling fans, and central heating ensure the home stays comfortable through the warmth of a New Orleans summer and well beyond.
Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms each feature a queen bed dressed in fresh linens, with room-darkening shades to help you sleep past sunrise. Every bedroom is equipped with a Smart TV and ample clothing storage - including walk-in closets, standard closets, and dressers - so the group can properly settle in. The home sleeps up to six guests across three private rooms.
Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook and eat well. A GE stainless steel electric stove, GE single oven, GE refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher cover the essentials, while cooking basics, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, a baking sheet, and a toaster handle the details. Your morning starts with a drip coffee maker or French press - coffee is included - and the dining table is ready when you are.
Bathroom
Two full bathrooms provide comfortable space for the whole group. Both are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hair dryer, and a bathtub is on hand when you want to properly unwind after a full day out.
Outdoor living
The front porch overlooks the Lafitte Greenway - a green corridor running through the heart of Mid-City - and quickly becomes a favorite spot for morning coffee or a quiet moment at the end of the day. Out back, a private patio and fully fenced backyard offer room to relax without leaving the property. Self check-in via smart lock makes for a flexible, stress-free arrival, and free street parking is available right out front.
For families
A pack 'n play/travel crib and a folding/convertible high chair are both available upon request, and babysitter recommendations can be arranged if you'd like a night out on your own. An in-unit washer and dryer handle laundry for longer stays without any extra effort.

You're a 10-minute walk from the Superdome and steps from Treme's renowned dining scene, with the French Quarter just minutes beyond. Whether you're planning around Mardi Gras, New Year's Eve, the Sugar Bowl, or another festival, this Mid-City home puts you right where you want to be.
