We had a lovely stay at Max’s cottage and it was a great spot for a large family get-together. There was plenty of space for everyone, the kitchen was really well equipped, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Max was also very easy to communicate with and always quick to answer any questions we had. We really enjoyed our time there and would happily stay again!

We stayed here with our family (8 adults, two babies and a dog) and it was the perfect size for us. Check in was super clear and easy, the place was clean, and stocked with essentials we would need, towels, dish soap etc. Beautiful entertaining space inside and out. The host was also super responsive. Great place to stay for a quiet beach getaway and definitely recommend.

Perfect Spot

This cottage is stunning in a quiet and peaceful area. It’s close to a private beach and all the amenities you need. It’s very spacious for large groups. We would definitely rent here again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent spot for our family!

The property had so many nice touches, clear instructions with all amenities, and was very clean. The neighbourhood was quiet and neighbours were friendly on our many walks, and the beach was a nice short trip away. We'll be looking at booking again next year!

Excellent family getaway

We had a great stay at this family friendly cottage! There was lots of room for our group of 8 adults and 3 kids. We had everything we needed and the kitchen was well supplied. Both kids and adults had lots to do between the board games, pool table, movies and arcade game table. We will come again.

We have enjoyed family vacations in the area since 2019 and this was by far the best home rental experience we’ve had! This home is immaculately clean, spacious, and well-equipped for all cooking needs. The beds are very comfortable and three full bathrooms were very accommodating for the entire family. We were easily able to make the walk to the gorgeous sandy beach, and the pool table provided great fun when we had enough sun for the day. It was especially nice to not have departure anxiety with a long list of items to be cleaned and completed prior to check-out. Check-in and check-out with ease are the final book-ends to this wonderful stay! Thank you for leaving us with only fun family memories for this vacation!

Amazing place to stay with family

What a wonderful getaway in the trees. It is very private and has everything you would ever need to make your stay amazing. All locations of items are labeled on the handles and there really is everything. Games and activities for the kids and just a great layout of the house. We will definitely be back!!

Beach beauty

Beautiful spot, clean and spacious! Great place for a large group. We ate together, bbqed together. Played pool and watched movies. The beach was a 15 walk. Walked to a cute coffee shop on the river too!

We have stayed at several Vrbo's and to date this is by far the best we have seen. It was beautiful, very well equipped and there was plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable. The game room was awesome and where we spent most of our time in friendly competitions. The information shared by the host regarding the local area was extremely helpful. I would rate this house and host a solid 10 out of 10. Thank you for a great time.

Check in process was simple and very user friendly. While at the door the operating instructions were perfect and allowed us easy access. Several of us took advantage of the bikes in the garage and toured the neighborhood and to scout out the beeches that were close by. We loved the tiny details like the “tags” on each drawer/doors in the kitchen to tell you what was inside, very nice touch! Beds were all comfortable. The place was very clean from top to bottom. It was a very enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend this location!

This home was perfect for a family of 8, 6 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 little female doodle. My son, DIL, and grand daughter was able to use the downstairs and had their privacy. My parents and us took the upstairs. We were glad we brought a baby gate for the stairway so that is a suggestion for others. When we arrived, a basket of snacks and wine was waiting for us....nice touch! The home was in a beautiful neighborhood and it had SO many extras....many bikes, sand toys, child's beach chair, all the cooking needs, etc. As far as cleanliness.....probably the cleanest place we have stayed in as far as a VRBO. My grand daughter was on the floor all the time, so I can testify to that! The communication was amazing, very quick to respond. Thank you again Max for a wonderful vacation!

An amazing property in a quiet, relaxing neighborhood. Great getaway.

Max is thorough from the moment I made the reservation and until check out. He is on top of everything and wants to ensure that we have a terrific stay communicating with us on an as needed basis. This was much appreciated. We were celebrating my 65th birthday and successful bypass surgery with my wife and 3 grown kids and significant others. There wasn’t anything that was missing in terms of the property itself. Everything is labeled in the kitchen and in the bedrooms. There are cute little easels that explain what is what and includes all passwords and instructions. This was really helpful especially when it came to operating the gas BBQ and outdoor gas fire table. The beach is a 20 minute leisurely walk and “downtown” Grand Bend is a short 5 minute drive away. Hidden in the magnificent forest this property is extremely comfortable and safe. We would not hesitate to return or in fact book at one of his other properties. All in all, it was a blast and we rate it a 10 out of 10. Thank you for our awesome first family post Covid getaway.
