Excellent choice in a beautiful location

The house is in a beautiful location with excellent views, and was extremely well presented throughout. As it's a little far from shops, you'll want a car although there is a bus service that passes very close by. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great Place!

We loved out stay on Cass Bay! The house was well appointed for our needs and even had an amazing cappuccino machine. The views were amazing and there was great hiking nearby. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. Thanks Nikki and Chris!

The Perfect Place

The location was great for our trips into and around Christchurch. The home has every amenity you'd want or need. It's very roomy, clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a nice view of Cass Bay. Perfect for friends traveling together. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the area, wonderful location great hiking trails overlooking the bay. It was like having teo master bedrooms as one of other bedrooms was at the opposite end of hall with a bathroom.. After each day’s adventure we enjoyed the outdoor deck. It was peaceful and beautiful great host that was very accommodating

Wonderful!

Mariners Lookout was everything it promised. We had a very comfortable 3 night stay at this well appointed, comfortable, clean property located in a beautiful area. There was nothing missing and our communication with Chris and Nikki was very friendly and accommodating. The coastal walk to Lyttleton is beautiful. We would very happily return to Mariners Loookout for another stay.

Exceptional !

As soon as walked through the door, we knew this home was special. Nikki and Chris have thought of everything from a welcome message , cozy slippers , bath bombs and wonderful supplies for coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The view is spectacular and we were able to enjoy morning coffee on the cozy deck furniture as we watched the sun burn off the morning dew. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us

Our daughter, who lives in NZ, was in a serious motor vehicle accident and so we flew down on very short notice and we were so lucky to have Nikki and Chris's house available for 8 days. It was the perfect place for her to rest and recuperate and for us to meet and spend time with her friends. Beautiful views and deck and so close to Lyttleton yet in a much more serene bay, next door. Lovely hikes along the sea coast. Very beautiful, peaceful, inviting, warm home. Nikki and Chris were great and very responsive. Would highly recommend this home.

A well equipped beautiful property

This home was personally built and designed by the owners with high end finishes, design elements with a stunning kitchen and living room with two very nice bathrooms and side covered porch and three bedrooms. A foreground decididuous tree does obscure your center view at perhaps except in winter but the bay is especially viewable from porch and kitchen and one of the bedrooms. The parking area is private for this property and sits just above it's roofline. We highly recommend this property.

The perfect beach side getaway!

Wow this hidden gem is the perfect getaway from the city. Just a short 15 minute drive from Christchurch and I was transported to a small unique community overlooking the sea and surrounded by green hills and interesting cliff tops. The house itself is warm, super clean and had everything we needed. The hosts are so considerate and it's definitely the best bnb experience we've ever had. Communication with Nikki & Chris was very easy and they were very friendly, answering any questions we had about the local area and even city. The local shop is in a quirky town 5 minutes drive away which was super convenient. Can't wait to stay here again but for longer next time!

It would be hard to imagine a more beautiful property, in a more beautiful land and with more incredible hosts! Everything about the home was clean and even better than described. We will always be grateful for the chance to stay here and would recommend it very highly to anyone!
