This condo is so laid out very well. There are 4 bedrooms and each feels like its own private space. If you want to retreat from everyone for a few quiet moments, the bedrooms are far enough away so that they feel separate, which is nice when you've got a house full of people. The common areas are well laid out with plenty of space for people to be doing different things & not be on top of each other.
We constantly had a puzzle going on the huge coffee table by the L-shaped sofa, then the giant dining room table was big enough for eveyone to eat and play games at, Additionally, there's a side office with a TV so that my husband could do some work & my son could play video games, but they could be closed off from everyone else. The front porch is great & has an amazing view of the beach. The cushions are a bit thin & a bit dingy. I sat out there a lot and after a while, by behind sure did wish for a bit more fluff! That is minor quibble though & by no means a deal breaker. The kitchen works well with a big island that was great. We all hated the in-door ice & water dispenser, (too small) but again, that was a minor fault, and not a big deal.
We loved that we were the only ones on the top floor. The elevator opens up to the front door of the condo, with a nice vestibule so you can leave all your gear outside the door & because the elevator requires a code to get to our floor, you don't worry about leaving things outside your door.
Speaking of codes, there are a lot of codes to remember: A code to get in the building (this code is unusually long), a code for the elevator, a code for the front door, a code to open the beach access gate. I just made a note of all the codes & kept it on my phone. After a couple of days, you'll have them memorized. Because most of the houses nearby are either not on the rental market, or only have a few units avialable, our stretch of beach never seemed crowded, which was fabulous. Once you leave the property, the crowds on the road are a bit nuts, so it's nice that there are several retaurants/shops you can walk to that are a quarter mile or less away: Cafe 30A, Angelinas, Goatfeathers, etc. Publix is a car trip, but not too far, less than 10 minutes. The hardest part is turning left out of the driveway
We loved our stay & loved our condo. We'll definitely be back!
