This home backs right onto Trout Lake, the third largest park in Vancouver. A gorgeous 0.8-mile lakeside trail, two playgrounds, and a community centre with gym and sauna are all within a few feet from the back gate.

Craving an urban vibe? A 10-minute walk away and you're in the heart of "The Drive," one of Vancouver's most vibrant shopping and restaurant scenes.

Or get your dose of winter wonderland at three local ski resorts within a 30-minute drive.

The home itself is a custom-designed, three-level duplex built in 2003 by celebrated Vancouver architects BattersbyHowat. Their award-winning work is known for its distinctive contemporary style and has been featured in Metropolitan Home, Dwell, Wallpaper, Hauser, Sunset, and others. The home features a modern mix of concrete, wood and high-end wool carpet, interior design that is tasteful yet decidedly un-boring, with floor-to-ceiling windows that maximize the beautiful lake views.
