House was perfect and In an awesome location and view of thw ocean. Walked a block to get to the beach! It was amazing to wake up and walk out to the hot tub in the morning!
The house was so amazing! So big and wonderful for families. We watched the sunset from the hot tub, it was incredible! Walk to the beach was close and easy. Thanks so much for a memorable stay!
The views are fabulous and the living area is perfect for groups as it is open and has all the big windows. It was a bit difficult to find since the road doesn't go through to the house (you have to take 74th street to get to the house). There was a load of laundry left in the dryer and the bedrooms had a musty smell. Be cautious if you use the bbq, it caught on fire from the residue when we attempted to use it. All in all it was a very comfortable and accommodating home for our group of 6 adults. It's a very quiet neighborhood and having beach access so close was very nice. I would stay in the house again.

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful views, spacious living area, quiet neighborhood, and convenient beach access. We’re sorry about the laundry left in the dryer, the musty smell in the bedrooms, and the BBQ issue, and we’ll share these concerns with our team for follow-up. We truly appreciate your kind words and would be happy to host you again!
Lovely view and great space. However, internet was almost non existent. TV mostly just buffered. House was extremely dusty and carpets not vacuumed. Insulin bottle was left in moose bowl in kitchen Directions given for house are off by one street. Passed on the 10 free Amazon card they wanted to give for a great review.
We have been here before and it is truly one of our favorite homes to stay in on the Oregon coast! The pool table and ping pong table are awesome. We will be back for sure.
Short walk to beach with easy access, kids loved the hot tub.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, Mark. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the short walk to the beach and found the access easy. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we are glad that the kids loved the hot tub at this home.
We strive to provide a 5-star experience for all our guests, and we hope to welcome you back for another enjoyable stay in the future. Thank you for choosing Sand Stone for your getaway.
It was a perfect property for our family vacation! The location is close for day trips up and down the coast. But there really wasn't a need to travel much because the beach right outside the house was ideal for everyone.
We had a great time at this house. We enjoyed hiking the nearby God's thumb trail. We loved viewing the ocean from the house and the easy walk do to the beach. The house was spacious and hot tub was great too.
Loved our location and house. It had everything we needed and then some. Super great house and layout. And the views were a dream. Beach access was so easy. Would love to stay here again!
We absolutely loved our stay on Road’s End. Lots of great space and room for everyone. Billiards was a favorite and the hot tub was pristine. Even though this home is off the beach, it is up a hill and retains stunning views of the coast. We sat for hours looking out the beautiful windows and saw whales, dolphins, and even bald eagles. The home’s location is wonderful. Road’s End is our favorite beach on the Oregon Coast. Clean, non crowded sand for miles. 15 minute walk to amazing tide pools and the secret beach (only accessible at low tide.). Beach access from the house is a short walk over a small retaining wall and down the hill. Things to keep in mind: The kitchen has all the essentials, but nothing else. No crockpot/instant pot/electric griddle. Does have a coffee maker and a toaster. Make sure your guests are prepared for a lot of stairs, and the beach access is a little steep. The room in the basement is pretty isolated - only accessible through the garage. The ocean is cold! Bring wetsuits if you plan on going in. We recommend: Deep sea fishing from Depoe Bay (Tradewind Charters). Glass blowing in the Taft district. Crabbing off Siletz Bay (Ace Hardware downtown has everything you need.). Safeway for groceries. Pub Fish and Chips and chowder. Agate hunting on the beach. Kite flying. Hike to Devil’s Thumb. Skip Yaquina Head lighthouse (stinky birds and flies) and do Rocky Creek State Scenic Viewpoint instead. Hansen Botanical Garden
We had a great time during our stay! The amenities, particularly the pool and ping pong tables, provided hours of entertainment. We also enjoyed the deck spaces to take in the beautiful ocean views at sunset.
Very pleased with this property! Great location. And beautiful views and access to the ocean! The hot tub was amazing. Thank you for making our first trip to the Oregon Coast so wonderful!
