The location of the home and the beach is superb. We could see the grandchildren play on the beach from the comfort of the home. We had a family gathering of eleven people including ages from 9 to 84. The game room was fun for the younger group while the adults enjoyed comfortable seats in the quiet of the living room or on the lounge chairs on the deck. The fire pit was great for roasting S'mores. The wind was perfect for flying kites, walking a beautiful beach, building castles in the sand, and jumping in the surf. Our host was in touch and answered all our questions quickly. We are planning on a return visit.

This is a beautiful house. Very clean and so well stocked with everything a person would want or need. The hosts are amazing. I had an issue with the door entry code and Jill quickly came to my rescue.The location is the best. Waves practically at our door step. Everything was as pictured! Cozy home with literally everything you need. They had so many thoughtful items that we didn't use because it was winter and we were only there 20 hours, but I noticed a beach wagon for littles, a highchair, games, lots of beach equipment. Wonderful family beach vacation

This is a great property with all of the amenities needed to enjoy a long stay at the beach. Our host, Jill, checked in frequently to make sure our needs were being met. You can hear the surf from the master bedroom and the upstairs bedroom overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed many long beach walks. Highly recommend this home.

The view and proximity to easy beach access alone make this place worthwhile, but Jill was also one of the most thoughtful and responsive hosts we’ve ever interacted with! We Are Planning to Visit Again!

This beautiful house is right on the beach with ocean views. We watched sunsets from the pergola swing and got better sleep than we have in months going to sleep listening to the ocean. The owners were super easy to work with and even left us a personalized welcome message. We had plenty of towels and bedding as well as soaps, lotions, etc. The living room was super comfy and relaxing and the beds were comfortable as well which is usually hit or miss in rentals. We will definitely stay again.

Wonderful break on the beach

Beautiful home and even more beautiful view! When we arrived there were several whales that we watched spouting and surfacing from the house. It was so fun! House was very clean and very comfortable. Everything was in working order and clean! Excellent hosts, we didn't need a thing while we were there but contacted host and they responded very fast. I can't wait to go back!

Birthday and Memories

We celebrated a 73rd birthday with our friends of 60 years. The house was where my family lived when I was a teenager and our friends had all spent time with me there. It accommodated all 7 of us so well. We played lots of cards at the dining room table and gawked at the beautiful Pacific Ocean all day. Cooked all our meals in a well stocked kitchen because why would we want to be anywhere else.

Fantastic fourth

We stayed for the fourth and fifth of July. It was awesome. Jill was there when we arrived about two hours before check-in. She was nice enough to let us check in as soon as the place was ready. They have a fire in the back which we used to to roast marshmallows. The second day of our stay it quite foggy, but the tide went out a ways. So we were able to check out the tide pools as well as spot a heron and pelican there for the seafood buffet. We also made use of the ping pong and foosball tables. Overall we had a great stay!

Rude property owner

The location and place were amazing. Owner was rude and kicked us out of the entire property even the outside part where our car was stuck, right at checkout even though we were stranded because we lost our keys. We found them an hour and a half after at the beach. Owner was rude to the guest and said we were disgusting. We cleaned everything except the grill and the towels and bedding. That is part of the cleaning fee. The grill needs special tools for cleaning that people shouldn't be expected to bring on a vacation.

Sadly, this turned into a fiasco for everyone involved. We take great pride in our property, so when we saw it had been treated with such disregard it became very stressful and unpleasant. It's true that we did have to ask the guests to leave in order to get our cleaning crews started on what would be a marathon job. We could see it would require a great deal more of extra time, and we had new guests checking in that evening. What we encountered on our arrival was truly a fright. It took 5 contractor bags to contain all of the overflow from the (very large) trash container provided. Inside, we found a complete mess.. think 'frat house' after a long night of partying. (Our neighbors also pointed out to us that there were likely way more than the 13 guests specified.) It's not our expectation that guests go beyond what is spelled out in the cleaning contract, but we also hope that they won't take advantage of us by being so extreme and disrespectful of other people's property. Hopefully all the parties involved can move forward and learn from this experience.

I enjoy being a host because I know how meaningful time away can be. Whether it’s a family reunion, a girls’ weekend, a holiday celebration, or simply a much-needed break, I want every guest who walks through the door to feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease.

I pay attention to the little details , from a perfectly cozy fireplace to the ocean-view hot tub ready for evening soaks. And of course, the glass globe scavenger hunt is one of my favorite touches. Watching guests discover something unique and unexpected makes hosting feel magical to me.
