Welcome to our Kelowna condo! Just a short walk through the bird sanctuary to Tugboat Beach and the boardwalk, Discovery Bay has everything you need for a relaxing Okanagan vacation. Amenities include two pools, two hot tubs, gym, games room, and a communal barbecue area. We loved staying at this condo. The location was perfect, the views from the deck with morning coffee were amazing, and the place was so well stocked with everything we could have asked for and more!

Perfect birthday weekend

My friends and I enjoyed the long weekend here. It was the perfect location and honestly was bigger than the pictures look! It was super clean and they were able to accommodate to early check in and late check out and were super responsive/ easy to talk to.

Great location, central to everything. Disliked the air conditioning unit for the entire building is just below master bedroom suite so enjoy the outside patio was impossible due to the noise. Liked that we had access to the washer and dryer because we had to wash our towels/face cloths as we only got one each for the week.

The condo is gorgeous, exactly as shown in photos, was spotless, would definately stay here again.The only negative was it would have been nice to have known ahead of time that the front entrance was closed off due to construction and how to get into the building. The host was easy to communicate with.

Excellent location - nice pool area. Lots of eating options within walking distance of the condo. This condo very well set up - excellent kitchen amenities. Likely the best we have ever had. We would certainly stay here again. Emilie was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Great location

What a wonderful and wholesome experience! Emelie is such a gem, she was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and was super accommodating with whatever last minute requests my family and I had! The location was perfect, the lake, pool, restaurants, cafes were all within walking distance from the property, the neighbourhood was just lovely, I enjoyed going for my morning matcha walk before the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything we needed was provided, from lawn chairs to pool noodles, Emelie’s property was stocked up! We will surely be booking this property next time we’re in town!

Great stay amazing location

We stayed here for three nights. Contact with the host was excellent, she was really kind! We loved the two bedrooms and bathrooms, the pools and gym, also the easy access to the beach. We hated the noise coming from the ac unit outside the appartement, it was really loud and therefore we did not like to sit outside on the balcony (with an amazing view!) . We loved the appartement with all its amenities and it s great location.

Kelowna Convention

Excellent stay at Emelie's place! We were a party of five (4 adults, one youth) in Kelowna for a three day convention. The condo suited us just fine during the five nights we were in town and the property felt very secure. Following the directions provided by Emelie made check-in a breeze. Hint: Make use of the wagon provided in the hall closet to transport your luggage and such to and from your vehicle. Any questions we did have were quickly answered by our host. The unit is clean and bright and had more than we needed in regards to appliances, utensils and such. The location was fantastic for our needs. Parked the car and there it stayed. Prospera Place is less then a ten minute walk. Restaurants, beach, boardwalk all just a stroll away. All in all a great VRBO experience!

Maintenance issues

A/C wasn’t working and ensuite sink drained very slowly. The condo didn’t start to cool down until 11 at night so it was hard to sleep until after midnight. Garbage area was extremely hard to find the first time … maybe a map could be included? Overall it would be a five star if not for the maintenance issues. Great location although the building is quite busy with stagettes etc.

Amazing downtown kelowna stay!

Condo was excellent. Very clean. Great location. Only a couple minute walk to the beach. Lots of attractions close by to walk to as well. Nice pool and hot tub right on site.

Perfect Location, Incredible Condo

Great place to enjoy Kelowna. Definitely will visit it again. We stayed for 3 nights with kids and a baby. But the unit has everything you would need for longer stays. It was sparkling clean and the lake view was a bonus. The complex is also very well maintained with so many facilities (pools, gym, playroom) and covered parking. The only thing to be considered, maybe for those super noise-sensitive people, the main bedroom is looking to the corner where all the AC engines are located. So, there is ongoing engine noise, not super loud but still hearable. It was super easy to communicate with Emelie. She was very helpful. The location was perfect. So close to the beach, boardwalk, and downtown. Overall we really enjoyed it and definitely recommended.

Perfect for our family

We had a great stay here. It was one of the best stocked rentals we’ve ever stayed at, right down to beach towels, sunscreen, pool noodles and Kelownopoly game to play. Kitchen was very well stocked too. The check in process was easy and well laid out and you can’t beat the location with the two pools and easy beach access. We especially appreciate that Emelie was able to accommodate a late check out for us as our flight home was later in the day. I’d highly recommend this unit and we hope to stay here again.

Enjoyable stay

The property was very clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. The property manager was very accommodating and helpful. The unit we were in was very noisy on the balcony because the hvac units were below it and it was very warm so they never shut off. Very quiet inside the unit. Check to make sure the pool is available as it was drained all the time we were there. Smaller pool was available but was very crowded.Great beds great linens great kitchen . Bedrooms could use black out curtains as they are very bright. Will definitely stay again overall very excellent .

Why they chose this property

I have lived in Discovery Bay off and on since 2005 and when this unit came up for sale I knew we had to buy it! The views are so beautiful, I will never get enough of those Okanagan hills. We love that both bedrooms have nice bright windows.
